Observations

Here are a few random observations that have occurred to me recently:

For a seventy-year old man, Donald Trump's energy level and range of activity has me in awe. If he can keep this up for four more years, we are in for a wild ride.

There is lots of current speculation about -- is Hellary going to run for president in 2020? The obvious answer is, because of her age and poor health, no. Yet I doubt that this will be the stated position of the Clinton crime family. Why? Because, if it was clear that she wasn't going to run, then who and why would the Clinton Foundation get any more pay-for-play donations?

I think that the number of candidates for Trump's Secretary of State has now risen to ten ... with John Huntsman name now being considered. Perhaps next, John Kerry?

My tongue-in-cheek solution to Donald Trump's conflict-of-interest problem with his vast property holdings around the world ... would be for Trump to put all these holdings in his own charitable foundation ... dedicated to the elimination of poverty in the Trump extended family ... to be run by his wife and children ... and maybe even John Podesta (he's looking for a job.)

I think the Democrat party is committing hari kari in two bone-headed steps. First, electing Nancy Pelosi to be minority leader in the House again ... and second, possibly electing the front-runner Keith Ellison to head the DNC. You might even add New York Senator Upchuck Schumer as the new Senate minority leader to this mix.

There is a fashionable trend now toward heavy black horn-rimmed glasses ... in an attempt to make the wearer appear smart and serious. To me, I think that instead it makes the wearers look silly and slavish.

Tough question: Is the hidden agenda of Planned Parenthood and the governments' poor attention to the rampant fatal gang violence in places like Chicago ... a socially-acceptable form of eugenics?

Airline Roulette

The crash of the Egyptian airlines this morning now looks very much like it was brought down by a bomb placed aboard by Muslim terrorist(s) ... killing 66 people. Now the Paris authorities are focusing in on the service personnel at Charles de Gaulle airport as a possible source of the smuggling on of an explosive. Now, France has quite a few immigrants from Muslim countries working in its services industries there ... and, since it seems that a portion of such immigrants have ISIS leanings, the chances for more such airline bombings seem to be significant and growing.

Conclusion: flying on airlines these days seems to carry with it a non-zero probability, sometime during your flight, you will hear a large bang and realize, as your stomach moves into your throat and you see your plane disintegrating around you, that you are in for some serious pain ere you are no more. Can we call this airline roulette? Of course the chance of such a catastrophe is not one out of six like with a gun ... at least not yet. But the chances are large enough ... particularly if flying out of France, England, Germany, Belgium, Egypt, or many other countries where liberals might have convinced themselves that loving all Muslims ... and not admitting that some might be jihadis ... is the Christian thing to do.

I know that Donald Trump is xenophobic and is claimed to be a chief reason why ISIS is recruiting many new terrorists. But, on the other hand, I suspect that Josh Earnest, John Kerry, President Obummer and many more of our Washington pajama boys who insist on more Muslim immigration ... and on wearing Islam-terrorist blinders, are far more dangerous than The Donald for increasing the bad airline-roulette odds for the next time I (or you) fly.

Coming Around ...

Secretary of State John Kerry has confessed to the obvious -- Iran will use some of the tens of billions of dollars released under the recent nuclear agreement he negotiated with it to support terrorism ... see: Powerline Blog Entry. Obummer's and Kerry's rationale for abetting such terrorism is that Iran will not get the atomic bomb for ten more years. This "greater good" is clearly an illusion because Iran has always been duplicitous ... and will be so again. This fanciful expectation of Iran changing its ways is a victory of hope over rationality.

If even one American soldier ends up wounded or killed by these American carom-shot-funded terrorists, the proponents of this pact with Iran clearly will have blood on their hands. Enabling such acts, even by proxy, is worse than despicable ... it is traitorous.

Kerry's candid yet, to me, mind-numbing confession stands with his early hate-America testimony to Congress during the Vietnam war. This man clearly cannot see when he is pissing on the American flag ... and on all of our young men and women who carry it into battle. Yet he is honored by his party and by his Genghis-Khan of a president. How low can we sink?!

My Christmas List

I know I am a little late in submitting these gift requests to ol' St. Nick ... but then again I would be happy to get them anytime in the New Year:

- a rollback of about 30 of my birthdays

- a Ronald Reagan clone running for president on the Republican ticket

- a purging of looney liberal professors in the Ivy League

- after repeated agreement violations, the US. reimposing sanctions on Iran

- Obummer deciding to spend all of his last year as president on the golf course

- the starting of a real reformation movement in the Muslim religion

- some stoney resolve being shown by the Republicans in Congress

- an indictment of Hillary Clinton for her criminal abuses when she was Secretary of State

- Al Sharpton paying his millions of dollars of back taxes

- Kim Jong un of North Korea developing a incurable case of severe rectal itch

- John Kerry being told he can no longer tolerate Botox injections

- Lois Lerner losing her government pension for malfeasance

Semantics

There has been a subtle shift in the semantics being used by Obummer and John Kerry when crowing about the squishy results of the Paris Climate Accord. Instead of talking about reductions of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere, they are now taking about targeted reductions in "carbon." Now this seems like a trivial difference but it truly isn't. Smoke is comprised mainly of unoxidized carbon and its reduction is a good thing ... with which most civilized people can agree. Whereas CO2 is the source of all life on Earth ... and its reduction is not necessarily a good thing. During the Carboniferous Period (360-300 million years ago) CO2 was 10 times higher than it is today, yet the Earth survived well ... thank you very much.

In fact this 60 million year period in our planet's formation is when most of the oil, coal and natural gas was laid down underground. Ponder on this for a moment. All the lush vegetation that was growing in this CO2-rich environment is the source of most all of the fossil fuels that we use today. 60 million years is 20 times longer than when the earliest man appeared on Earth and 30,000 times longer than the period of time since the birth of Christ. That's a good long time with a whole lot of vegetative growth ... and thus a whole lot of fossil fuels ... much more than I suspect we currently estimate. Yes, some day we will run out... but this is many lifetimes away ... and I believe that our sources of energy then will not be wind ... maybe sunshine ... but more likely safe fission and fusion.

So our administration's purposeful obfuscation of the term "carbon" to imply both smoke and CO2 is disingenuous and purposefully confusing. ... an attempt to lead the uninformed to its way of thinking. How very semantically Orwellian!

Peacock Tongues

In the corrupt and dying days of the Roman Empire, it's leaders indulged in excesses of all types ... sexual, criminal, foppish and gluttonous. They dissolved precious pearls in their wine and had sumptuous feasts of cock's combs and peacock tongues. I think we are beginning to see a distasteful replication of these Roman indulgences in our current cast of poltroon politicians. A few days ago I predicted the kind of excesses we might see at the recent Climate Summit in Paris ... see: The French Connection. I think I hit the nail on the head:

The above photo displays the extravagant excesses enjoyed by Obummer, John Kerry and other world "leaders" at one of their lavish "down on CO2" feasts in Paris while, at the same time, finding the unmitigated gall to lecture the rest of the world on how we need to do what they say ... and not what they do.

Which way to the vomitorium?

The French Connection

What is the nexus between climate change and terrorism? Bernie Sanders, Barry Soetoro, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, and most of the rest of the loopy liberals have either said that global warming (aka, climate change) causes terrorism or that it is a larger threat to our civilization than terrorism. Have I lost my way in the world and ended up in some lunatic asylum ... but for the life of me these statements make absolutely no sense to me. And, for some reason, when they are uttered, nobody follows up with a request for further explanation of what is the connection. I suppose that this is so because there cannot be any further explanation.

Now Barry Soetoro and John Kerry are about to travel to Paris for the Global Climate Conference where over 4,000 wild-eyed environmentalists from around the world will spend their taxpayers' good money on five-star hotels, fine wine and lots of expensive food whilst nodding in belly-rubbing agreement with oodles more of such inane mutterings. Each of these dingbats will try to outdo each other with weirder and stupider consequences caused by minute increased traces of carbon dioxide. That is, of course, assuming that the terrorist threats in Paris have subsided.

Ah, I just had a thought ... perhaps the connection between global warming and terrorism is ... PARIS!

Skulduggery

Secretary of State John Kerry, mimicking his totalitarian boss has just unilaterally announced that the United States will legally admit 100,000 immigrants in 2017 ... see: New York Times Story. Wow! Go back and read this statement carefully ... it is designed to deceive. Is Kerry (who once served in Vietnam Nam) saying that we will just be admitting 100,000 immigrants of any stripe ... or 100,000 Muslim immigrants ... or 100,000 Syrian immigrants? Are these the total numbers or are they just the increases in the existing numbers?

Clearly, Kerry is purposely misleading the American press and the American people with these well-chosen weasel words. He is playing three-card Monte ... now you see the numbers, now you don't.

Well as it turns out. the United States already allows over 250,000 legal Muslim immigrants into this country every year ... and who knows how many more illegal ones are finding their way in  ... see: Breitbart Story. (Read this link if you don't believe me ... which I suspect many of you won't.) So whom are we to believe? That arm-waving bunko artist John Kerry? Or the official numbers as reported by our government?

Is this slight-of-hand skulduggery also how Hanoi John has negotiated our nuclear pact with Iraq ... and is attempting to sell it to Congress?

Distractions

- The United States stock market is now in correction territory having fallen more than ten percent with the 500+ point plunge on Friday and a much bigger drop on Monday. A drop of 20+% in the coming days or weeks is not beyond reason and would presage a bear market equivalent to 2008.
- Economies around the world seem to be in trouble ... Russia, Brazil, Venezuela, China, Greece, Canada, and many others are all teetering on panic's edge due to the recent precipitous drop in oil prices ... now hovering just below $40 per barrel. Even Saudi Arabia is rapidly running out of sovereign funds and needs to tap into the world debt markets.
- ISIS, Boko Haram and other radical "religion of peace" groups are raping, enslaving and beheading thousands of Christians throughout the Mideast with almost no response from the Free World.
- Tensions on the Korean Peninsula are escalating to a very dangerous degree with exchanges of artillery fire and propaganda-laden saber-rattling.
- Illegal immigration is surging from third countries into Europe and the United States in unprecedented numbers with very little real resistance from the authorities and few solutions proffered ... other than from Donald Trump.
- Iran is being given the gift of $150 billion dollars to spend on terrorism and a clear path to an atomic weapon by the U.S. Secretary of State, John "Christmas in Cambodia" Kerry and our Imperial President.
- Islamic radical terrorist attacks on civilian and military innocents are almost a daily occurrence throughout the free world.
- The oceans may still be rising and the climate may still be changing despite China's pledge to start reducing its horrendous air pollution by 2030.
- The United States Federal Reserve Bank is on the horns of a dilemma. Either it raises interest rate sometime this Fall or it has almost no tools to deal with a possible new recession.

All these serious problems are but distractions to the leader of the free world whose primary focus is on his golf handicap ... which he is assiduously working on while he vacations unconcerned on Martha's Vineyard. Perhaps this singular focus is a form of denial ... to keep him from fretting about these other distraction.

Flag Ceremony

Secretary of State John Kerry traveled to Havana, Cuba today to mark the official opening of the United States Embassy there with a flag ceremony. He showed up in a Che Guevara tee shirt and cutaways. And, instead of hoisting the Stars and Stripes there for the first time in fifty-four years, he threw Old Glory over the embassy fence.

But before leaving to return to the United States, Kerry was rumored to be seeking to buy a large parcel of prime ocean-front property at a rock-bottom price. He also was thought to be buying a few cases of the best Cuban cigars.

Afterward: Since my wife didn't understand the reference of throwing the flag over the fence, I guess I need to explain. John Kerry, who once served in Viet Nam, became an anti-war activist (see above picture) and, in order to show his displeasure, threw his military medals over the White House fence. Years later someone visiting Senator Kerry's office saw his medals on the wall and ask where they came from. Kerry responded, "Oh, those were someone else's medals that I threw."

More Outrage

Cultivating outrage is likely another part of President Obama's cynical strategy to transform America ... so now we have been served up another packaged outrage ... the nuclear agreement that "Christmas in Cambodia" Kerry negotiated with the Iranians has a obscure clause that states that the United States will protect Iranian nuclear sites from sabotage or attack by any foreign power, e.g., Israel or even possibly Saudi Arabia (if it only had the guts) ... see: The Gateway Pundit Story.

In the past it was reported that Obama had stopped Israel from an attack against Iran ... see: The Daily Mail Article ... a revelation that was hotly denied by the administration. Now, it seems likely that, because of this obscure clause, this past outrage against Israel probably was true. How perfidious can Obama be?

This blog contains but a few weak words in an Internet full of trillions of bold news and opinion words ... so it is very unlikely that it's opinion will mean but a fart in a hurricane in the course of human events. But if and most likely when the real ramifications of this administration's Iranian subterfuge becomes clear as a result of future events ... I hope and pray that history gives our current mocking martinet in the White House his realistic due ... and remembers him as the traitor to American core values he most certainly is.

July 26, 2021 -- The United States finally inked a nuclear control deal with Iran in Geneva today after an eternal series of extensions from the original July, 1, 2015 oft-extended deadline. Unfortunately, Iran has obviously already achieved atomic weapons as it has recently nuked Tel Aviv, Israel; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Amman, Jordan.

Retired Secretary of State, John Kerry, wind-surfing off of Martha's Vineyard said that this was a great day for President Obama's and his rapprochement strategy with Iran.

Humble Pie

The P5 +1 Iran nuclear-reduction talks in Lausanne, Switzerland have taken on the tone of an Indiana state legislative cave-in as all the other players have left this swank venue except Iran, England and John Kerry searching the distant horizon and crooning "Chloe" ... see: Breitbart Article. It must be quite lonely at that big conference table without those other negotiators ... Iran smiling slyly ... and the other two ... scowling behind spread-palm face-covers. But there is some solace ... it just means there is more Beluga caviar and Dom Perignon for the remaining three.

But how much humble pie can "Christmas in Cambodia" Kerry also eat before he understands how he is sullying himself and his country? I do suppose that he is on a short leash from his links-obsessed boss who never seems to feel any pressure for his screw-ups ... just as long as he can off-load them on dweebs such as Hanoi John.

Or blame the Republicans and George Bush ...
