At War (Part 4)

Last night on Tucker Carlson, he had a Chinese female virologist who claimed that, because of the profile of the coronavirus genome, it is clear that it was man-made with malign intent ... quite likely in that Level-4 virology research lab right outside Wuhan, China. Wow! Can this be true?

I started zeroing in on this possibility before ... see: At War (Part One) wherein I laid out the predicate for what China was doing to tighten its insidious grip on world economies ... and what Trump was doing as the first president to push back against this threat.

I followed this with more particulars of what China was doing geopolitically and with possible germ warfare upping the ante with parallel aggressions, particularly using North Korea and with the coronavirus ... see: At War (Part Two) and, in particular, the embedded hyperlink: Xi Jinping.

Finally, I speculated that China may have possibly been ready to crack down on Hong Kong and also unleash a coronavirus follow-on to demonstrate to the world the seriousness of its retribution to Trump’s aggressive pushback to China’s world domination ambitions ... see:  At War (Part 3).

Now we have first-hand testimony that China was complicit in this world pandemic ... which I am now inclined to believe. Clearly Xi would prefer Biden to win the next election. He has already invested over $1.5 billion to this end. And, if Trump loses to Sleepy Joe, the coronavirus will be the primary causation. Yes, this is quite a drastic and dangerous solution ... but a solution nevertheless.

Just My Opinion

I hear many say that the people of Iran are good. ... it is just their leaders who are evil. Well, as much as I would like to concur with that rationalization, I can’t. The people of Iran have by their once vote and by their continued complacency allowed their country to become what it is today ... the world’s chief sponsor of terrorism. This is just like the people of North Korea, Russia, Cuba, China, Venezuela, Chicago, New York, Portland and many others have made their corrupt beds and now unhappily are tucked into them.

If a citizenry allows idiot dictators to rule them, then they deserve being pariahs. And yes, dear reader ... anticipating some of your snarky comments ... if I sense that Donald Trump is taking America in an autocratic direction, I will not be an accomplice in such a degradation. And although Trump’s enemies ... including the pipsqueak press and some of you, kind readers, do so avow ... I have yet to sense such a turn.

If such a circumstance presents itself ... and I am sensitive to this possibility because of all the feral abuse that he has suffered, it could be a predictable reaction ... I still will raise my pen in protest.

Dog Gone

North Korea’s Kin Jong Un has ordered all pet dogs in his country to be surrendered to be slaughtered for food ... see: The Sun story. The stated reason for this horror is that dogs are representative of Western decadence. The real reason must be that Trump’s embargo on this country is working.

Let’s hope that PETA steps forward to protest this Kim outrage ... although, like most other Libs, they likely will blame everything on the Orangeman.

Cold Hard Reality

America’s 43rd president, George W. Bush was not quite the pragmatic realist that his dad, H.W. was. He squandered trillions of American dollars in a quixotic attempt to “fix” the Middle East (which I now abashedly confess, supported.) Although he was a patrician of relative honesty (for a politician), he was nonetheless frozen when dealing with the growing sub-prime mortgage crisis, the clearly burgeoning trading and military threat from China ... and unwilling to face head-on North Korea's nuclear insanity.

He was pushed around by the deep state and main-stream media without serious complaint ... opening the door to Obama-inspired Socialism. But, by far, his crowning accomplishments were that he defeated those nincompoops Al Gore and John Kerry. For that we must be eternally grateful.

Waiting Game

Kim Yo-Jong

Is the tyrannical leader of North Korea seriously ill? President Trump suggests no ... but then China is sending in its best doctors to aid in this possibility.

When  President Trump met Kim Jong Un in the Korean demilitarized zone last year, it was apparent to most that Kim was ill. He barely could walk twenty feet without being short of breath. Now we read that Kim is in critical condition after surgery ... see: Breitbart Story. Although South Korea and China deny that he is gravely ill, it is clear that something is afoot.

Maybe Trump’s real strategy was to wait Kim out ... sensing that his lifestyle of Swiss cheese and Swedish hookers did not suggest a good long life? Possibly, this strategy is paying off. But the question remains ... what next, if Lil’ Kim disappears?

Will Kim’s little sister, Kim Yo-Jong take over? And, if so, will she be just as despotic as her older brother? If one follows the thinking of American feminists, she will be the dove of peace ... in the image of the Mothers Earth and Theresa.

Looking closely at her face, I am not so sanguine.

The Debate

One would think, watching the Democrat debate last night, that our world revolves around free stuff for everyone, climate change, sexism and racism. Non-issues: world trade inequities, our growing national debt, coronavirus, Chinese hegemony, North Korean nukes, immigration reform, economic growth, national defense, impeachment and patriotism.

I’m not sure if this was because of the candidates’ myopia or cable new’s desire to stir things up.

Afterthought: Bloomberg has said he would back whomever wins the Democrat nomination ... now, except possibly Liz Warren...

The Debate

I tortured myself last night by watching about an hour of the final Democrat debate in New Hampshire. What a bunch of myopic nothingness! I swear that the only candidate that was not embarrassingly pandering to “blacks, browns and people of color” was Amy Klobuchar (well maybe a little.) I must have heard the word “racism” snarled a hundred times.

The rest of the arm-waving rhetoric was centered around various schemes to extract more tax money or silly ways to spend it. Do any of these candidates think beyond our shores ... or other than how to get minorities to vote for them? What about China’s hegemomy, federal deficits, stopping illegal immigration, entitlement spending, Muslim extremism, North Korea and Iran nukes, economic growth strategies, NATO policies, Middle East peace, etc.

One would think that the sun rises and sets on a very few domestic issues ... mostly of the vote-buying nature. What a waste of TV viewers’ time. The Democrats need to do something drastic if they don’t want to be swept away in November!

Puppet-Masters

The strategy is simple. Russia and China use surrogate puppet states ... Iran and North Korea ... to distract America and draw down our resources rebuffing the crazed antics of their puppets while they plan their world domination.

America has for many years been cowed by the bluster emanating out of Iran and North Korea. These two nut-job countries have continually threatened mayhem in order to get their way. And they have been egged on by their puppet-masters, Russia and China. And the United States, fearing World War 3, has backed down. This brinkmanship, of course, has exacerbated the situation ... for every capitulation and appeasement has led to the next confrontation.

It was inevitable that the limit of American patience had to be reached ... and it was last week ... when President Trump cut the head off of the Iranian snake ... namely Qasem Soleimani, the leader of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard ... while he was in Iraq planning more lethal mischief.

Of course, it is unclear whether this dramatic step will trigger the escalations that Iran has threatened. Trump and most Americans hope it doesn’t. But, if it does, it is only precipitating what would have happened eventually anyway, as the bluster-ers would have done something horrendous that they could not retract. So Trump’s calling Iran’s bluff has only changed the timing of things ... not the actual event itself ... whatever it may turn out to be.

Our president has busted the bluster that kept us backing up...  both in Iran and North Korea ... at what cost is still to be determined. Will their puppet-masters now step in to cool things down before the world ends? One would expect so. But, at least America is no longer groveling and our attention can be focused on our real adversaries, China and Russia ... more so China ... for Russia I think sees the wisdom in counteracting China’s growing threat.

Praying Mantis

Was the US’s killing of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard General Soleimani in Iraq justified? The Smerconish program on CNN this morning asked this question of its viewers. Surprisingly, 72% of respondents said it was NOT justified. This suggests that Liberals in general do not approve of this Trump decision ... not a surprise. But, was this a never-Trump knee-jerk or, perhaps, an indication of fear of Iranian retaliation?

Probably a bit of both. And yes, Iran might respond in kind. But the repercussions of Trump’s boldness will likely be felt in other spheres: North Korea, China, Syria, Venezuela ... maybe even Russia. And remember that Iran went quiescent for a number of years after President Reagan destroyed half its navy in 1988 after it had mined the Persian Gulf ... see: Operation Praying Mantis.

Maybe Reagan’s boldness was a template for Trump’s decision?

Unreal Realities

This blog has pointed out that America has been living with unreal realities ... see: Reality Check. Pre-Trump, the United States was embracing many media- and politician-inspired “truths” that the Orangeman is attempting to kick into a cocked hat. They include:

- We can trust Iran to give up its nuclear ambitions and stop its sponsorship of terrorism

- Once China embraced capitalism, its 1.3 billion people would become huge customers for U.S. companies

- The Chinese model of totalitarian capitalism is superior to free-market capitalism

- Abortion, even right before birth, is moral and a woman’s legal right

- The European model of democratic socialism is superior to the U.S.’s free-market capitalism

- Large numbers of unscreened immigrants (even illegals) enhance American diversity and makes us stronger and safer

- Anti-ballistic missile defense and atomic weapons upgrades were a waste of money

- The Second Amendment is causing mass shootings

- The US. needs to continue to be the major financial supporter of NATO and the UN

- America’s middle working class is a basket of deplorables

- The United States needs to continue to insure peace in the the world ... and even nation-build where necessary

- High taxes and more government regulation is necessary and good for a strong America

- The checkered history of the United States makes it a flawed country not to be revered

- Carbon dioxide emissions from burning hydrocarbons are creating climate havoc that will shortly destroy mankind

- Israel and Great Britain are not America's friends

- Russia is our mortal enemy

- North Korea, even with its nuclear weapons and missiles, can be appeased and safely ignored

- Islam is a religion of peace

- America cannot be and will never be again another manufacturing powerhouse

If you agree with pushing back against even half of these reality illusions, you might ignore his sandpaper personality and reconsider your adversity to the Orangeman.

Obama’s Piss Poor Presidency

A commenter asked on Presidential what I meant by Obama’s “piss poor” presidency. I gave it short shrift and it deserves better ... so here is more — the urine that the “chosen one” managed to spread around during his pampered eight years:

- His initial apology tour ... disparaging his country
- Gutting our military
- Significantly deepening the domestic racial divide
- Doubling our notional debt burden by $10 trillion
- Spending $1 trillion on [non] “shovel-ready jobs”
- Cash for clunkers
- Attempting to destroy our coal and oil industries
- Relying on monetary and not fiscal levers for economic recovery
- Tens of billions lost on Solyndra and other crony  “investments”
- The stupid Paris Climate Accord
- Oblivious to huge trade deficits with China, Mexico and the EU
- Frequently disrespecting Israel
- The Benghazi debacle
- Allowing Hillary’s private email server
- Politicizing our intelligence agencies
- Obamacare which is slowly being fixed by Congress and the courts
- The Iranian nuclear deal giving it $150 billion and  $1.6B in hard cash
- Giving lip service to defeating ISIS ... possibly even arming them
- Reneging US commitment to put missiles in Poland
- Colluding with the Muslim Brotherhood and Black Lives Matter
- Unconstitutional DACA executive order
- Pardoning spy Chelsea Manning
- Swapping deserter Bowe Bergdahl for five senior Taliban bad guys
- “Fast and Furious” gun running to Mexico cartels
- IRS discrimination against Tea Party groups
- Spying on political opponents and the media
- Selling 20% of US uranium to the Russians
- Russian reset including allowing them to annex Crimea
- Not arming the Ukraine with anti-tank missiles against Russia
- Not making NATO countries meet their committed military spending
- The very expensive Afghanistan “surge” producing nothing
- Not confronting North Korea’s for its bad behavior

Enough? And I’m sure I forgot quite a few!
