Smelling Fear

When a nervous President Clinton met with China’s President Zemin in 1997 you could almost smell Clinton’s fear ... see: Broken China and reset this video to its beginning (a flaw in the original video I couldn’t fix). Clinton wasn’t our only shrinking-violet president. We all remember how Obama traveled the world bowing to foreign potentates ... China included. I guess it is no wonder that this same country has done so well over the last thirty years. Yes, the Democrat-led New World Order conned America into believing that once China became a developed capitalistic bastion, it would also become a huge market for our products. Didn’t happen. We became a huge market for our own products manufactured in China.

Enter stage right ... Donald Trump who doesn’t ever show fear like his presidential predecessors ... and this confounds China who wants a repeat of this shower-room posture by America. Trump refuses to bend over for Xi ... which is causing much of the world’s angst. Many of our “allies” keep dropping the soap ... wanting Trump to pick it up. He does not seem so inclined.

Broken China

What has been the genesis of our problems with China? I still remember when President Bill Clinton met the president of China, Jiang Zemin, twice back in the late 1990s during his second term ... and clearly signaling his fear of this man. Was this because of China’s secret donations to Clinton’s campaign through Charlie Trie? Or did Billy Bob sell himself out in some other nefarious way. All we know is that during his eight year reign, Clinton had the Loral Corp. teach China how to get its satellites into orbit, got China admitted into the World Trade Organization ... and gave them Most Favored Nations trading status. And I’m sure that there were other less obvious benefits that Billy Bob gave it up under the covers.

Fashionably late ... Why is being tardy a good thing? World leaders seem to think that keeping others waiting is a sign of their position of power. Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Vladamir Putin ... are all famous for being always late for appointments ... keeping the world waiting. This is petty BS. And those pols, who choose to use this infantile indication of power, are also weak rather than strong.

Don't such egomaniacs realize that, if they are always an hour late for meetings, they are still being reliable?

Averting One's Eyes

I remember being perplexed at Democrats who made excuses for Bill Clinton back when he was going through his impeachment gauntlet. I still remember how disappointed I was with Senator John Glenn when he voted not to convict Bubba after he had been impeached.

Now, I find that I may be willing to let partisanship come before patriotism insofar as the Trump slow-motion coup by Mueller is concerned. I've already dismissed the Stormy Daniels affair and most of the other accusations of Trump misconduct. I seem willing to look the other way even if Trump was "mobbed up" in his New York City real estate business ... an almost certainty in the Manhattan swamp. And there are obviously questions about his company's finances ... witness his many IRS audits.

So, have I become that which I have previously decried? Certainly to a degree. But, on the other hand, Bill Clinton's erstwhile defenders have also flipped. In both cases, it seems the rationale is that the good outweighs the bad. I certainly applaud what Trump has been doing in his presidency and want him to finish his agenda ... as did Bubba's buddies back in the late 1990s.

Are both sides being hypocritical? Yes, but then isn't this how politics works? I wish it weren't so ...

Democrat Manifesto

The Democrat party has moved far left in the last decade ... to a point that would be unrecognizable to the party of JFK or even Bill Clinton. It's as though George Soros has tattooed his manifesto on the donkey's rump. However, not all recent Blue candidates are using this manifesto as their platform because the smarter ones realize that it is a loser. But, once elected if elected, Nancy Pelosi tells them how to vote.

The question becomes then, how much of this Democrat manifesto will be visible in the next presidential election and maybe even in this Fall's midterm elections? But be mot mistaken, this is the guts of their agenda. So let's get on to what this manifesto contains:

- Single-payer healthcare
- World government
- Destroy the U.S. coal industry
- Increase third-world migration into America
- Higher income taxes (to redistribute wealth)
- Sanctuary cities and states
- "Strategic patience"  (passive foreign policy)
- Open national borders
- Nuclear disarmament or at least unilateral reduction
- Crony capitalism
- Promoting Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA
- Mote government transfer payments (welfare)
- Fewer illicit drug laws and lesser punishments ("sentencing reform")
- Facilitation of illegal voting
- Weaker military
- Removing Civil War (and other historic) statues
- Free higher education
- Diversity quotas and more "inclusion" of hyphenated Americans
- Nullifying the Second Amendment
-Taxpayer funded abortion and birth control
- Free but not necessarily fair (multilateral) trade
- Carbon taxes and much tighter emissions standards
- "Green" energy production at the expense of  fossil fuels
- More government regulations
- LBGTQ and transgender rights advocacy
- Suppression of "offensive" speech

This list is not by a long shot comprehensive ... and they are not all excessively malignant ... but. taken as a whole, they would "fundamentally transform" this country ... if we survive at all.

Public Opinion Guillotine

There is a feeling of the French Revolution building around these recent sexual harassment revelations and repercussions. Like then, the public opinion guillotine is now working overtime to remedy the past sins of a hoard of sexual predators. Heads are being lopped off with gay abandon to atone for a rash of male on female peccadilloes ... from ass pinching to forcible rape. The blood lust is palpable and rampant ... and suddenly the culprits are being led in donkey carts to their career beheadings. I won't again count the corpses in this blog post ... you know who they are ... but the putrid pile is surely going to grow further.

This social blood lust, it seems to me, is a kind of atonement for what has become an open season on women. And this open season, again it seems to me, is a consequence of how forgiving this country has been to the decades of over-the-top sexual predation by Bill Clinton ... as well as a clan  puzzlingly tolerance of sports celebrities acting like sultans with their odalisques .... birthing many children from many women without blowback. The more wealthy and powerful these men, the more outrageous their behavior. Many men of consequence have therefore concluded, "If they all can do it, why not me?"

Well the fun and games have been had ... and it is now time to pay the piper. So, all over America, from Hollywood to D.C. to NYC, men (and maybe a few women) are wondering, "Am I next? Is the donkey cart next coming to take me to that public-opinion guillotine?"

Perv Country

Two more male celebrities have entered the Conga line of pervs snaking through the halls of shame. Now Matt Lauer and Garrison Keillor have been fired from their media jobs for sexual improprieties. Can I count the names? Weinstein, Bill Clinton, Conyers, Bill O'Reilly, Ted Kennedy, Michael Kennedy, Al Franken, Charlie Rose, Kevin Spacey, Oliver Stone, AnthonyWeiner, Mark Halpern, the Affleck brothers, etc., etc. These are just the ones who have been verified as being pervs. Yes, Donald Trump, Joe Biden and Roy Moore have been accused but the charges against them are still unverified.

But the ones who have been fully outed, almost all seem to have one thing in common ... they are shrill liberal feminists ... male metrosexuals ... more than willing to denounce anyone across the aisle who looks cross-eyed at a woman. Me thinks that they doth protest too much. You can cut their holier-than-thou hypocrisy with a dull butter knife.

But the thing that has me puzzled is ... why only males? Surely some high-powered women have engaged in sexual shenanigans. The questions are who and how many? Here are my wild guesses for the first female pervs: Anna Wintour of Vogue Magazine, Maxine Waters of Congress, Carly Fiorina once of Hewlett Packard, Megyn Kelly of NBC, Martha Stewart of PBS, Nancy Pelosi of Congress, Lena Dunham of "Girls,"  Ariana Huffington once of HuffPo, and, yes, Hillary Clinton once our Secretary of State (outed by Huma?). Kind readers, feel free to add your speculations to this perv country ...

Seismic Shift

A seismic shift seems to be occurring in American politics. There has been a traditional  rivalry between our Republicans and our Democrats. These battle lines were so well defined that,when a Democrat president took sexual advantage of a young female intern under him, the rest of his party looked the other way. In fact, his political views so eclipsed his bad behavior that he left office a demi-hero ... ready to capitalize handsomely both monetarily and physically on this adoration.

But events of the last few months seem to have changed this calculus. A tsunami of male on female sexual exploitations in the entertainment and political orbits have caused many die-hard Democrat women and media types to rethink their indulgence directed toward this decades-ago randy Arkansan. The working assumption of course is that, in these recent trysts,  the male is always the aggressor.

Now, both Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and sigher Mika Brzizenski remarkably have said that American women were wrong to paper over Bill Clinton's dalliances ... and he should have resigned from office ... which, of course, would have dramatically changed the events of the ensuing decades. To me, this change in attitude by these two super feminists (and many n the media) indicates that the fault lines are now between the sexes and not between the old political parties.

Taken to its natural conclusion, this suffrage victory might be such that a future presidential election would be a contest between the Vaginan party and the Macho party ... or maybe the XX's and the XY's. In the battle of the sexes, the exes are clearly winning.

I smell a rat. The Washington Post has published a story, probably with the winking assent of Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Mitt Romney  and a phalanx of other establishment Republicans, designed to take down Judge Roy Moore, Republican candidate for the Senate to replace Jeff Sessions in an Alabama special election ... read it here: WaPo Expose. And, in the process, Steve Bannon would also be neutered ... not something that would bring tears to many in the swamp. This late-hour expose of alleged "inappropriate sexual touching" is clearly of malicious intent ... as such ephemeral attacks are favorites of the liberal media in the last days of a campaign ... so that there is no time to counteract the damage done.

Now, malicious intent is but one part of building a libel case against a public official, the other being veracity. And it is very difficult to determine veracity with such a short time left until the election ... more evidence of the insidious nature of this expose. Are these charges true, that Roy Moore touched a 14-year old girl on top of her bra and had her touch him on top of his underpants 39 years ago? John McCain thinks that the seriousness of this charge should disqualify Judge Moore outright. (Ironic since McCain was subject to this same kind of smear by the New York Times in the last minutes of his presidential campaign against Barack Obama.)

Nowhere in its expose does the WaPo equivocate or use the term "alleged" in its accusations. No, it implies, "It is indeed a fact because we say so ... even though these things occurred so very long ago." Could this woman and the other three minor minor accusers be lying?  Might their memories be colored by politics or thoughts of notoriety? You bet your grits.

So, if I were an Alabama voter, what would I do? I think that I, also being a past modest sinner, would ignore the Washington Post likely libelous story. In fact, I might even cast my vote for Judge Moore as a protest against this type of last-minute smear. If a rapist can stay on as president, maybe it's time an almost pederast can be a senator.

And I honestly believe that if our libel laws were stricter, say like they are in England, such political late-game gambits by the media might be somewhat rarer.

Afterward: The Massachusetts state legislature is considering reducing the age of consent here to 14. I suspect this political scandal might delay this piece of insanity.

It seems that Bill Clinton had Loral Corp. supply China with critical missile technology in exchange for something more than $3 million in China's contributions  to his campaign.

And Hillary Clinton permitted controlling interest in Uranium One, representing 20% of U.S. uranium stockpiles, to be sold to the Russians for its $145 million in donations to the Clinton Foundation.

At the very least the Clintons  apparently have learned to charge much more each time they  sell out their country. Judas Iscariot never learned this economic lesson since there was only one Christ.
