Virtually all Democrat presidential candidates have become media trolls. They are constantly trying to elbow their way into the front of the daily news cycle ... no matter what the longer-term consequences. They are making Donald Trump look like Winston Churchill.

Bitter Medicine

Prior to November, 2016 this country had many maladies -- surging illegal immigration, a sluggish economy, hugely unbalanced trade, rogue nations threatening nuclear war, a crumbling infrastructure, a drug crisis and a partisan bureaucracy that refused to recognize these problems ... in fact was actively working in many cases to make them worse. The American people saw how sick their nation was and over 63 million of them opted for a promised  remedy, Donald Trump.

Now Donald Trump was the medicine ... although he recognized these diseases and swore to fix them ... he was foul tasting --  serial  brashly insulting, of loose morals, funny looking vainglorious and prone to exaggeration. Nevertheless many American were willing to swallow this bitter medicine if it meant that their country would be cured ... made great again if you will.

But many Americans were not so willing to go along with this cure. You know who they are ... they call themselves the Resistance.  Although they may have sensed some of our ailments, they wanted the medicine to taste like strawberry ice cream. It doesn't work that way people. If we are going to survive and prosper, we need to purge ourselves of the toxins that have accumulated over the last half century. Like grown-ups, we need to take our bitter medicine.

Star Strzok

That amorous FBI agent, Peter Strzok, was fired recently after brooming the Hillary Clinton investagation and leading a secret police cabal against Donald Trump. Why he lasted so long at this agency is beyond me ... but his supporters are concerned for his financial well-being so they have created a GoFundMe page to help pay for his NoTell motel trysts with Lisa Page (who earlier resigned from the FBI).

Now Strzok has a government pension and his ever-sufferting lawyer wife is pilling down big bucks at the SEC. Nevertheless, he needs your hard-earned money. What all those young gun grabbers who were marching around the country this past weekend can't or don't want to realize ... is that our Second-Amendment guns help keep the likes of Donald Trump from ever trying to become our dictator.

Activist lawyer Lisa Bloom, daughter of that professional perv pursuer Gloria Allred, took it upon herself last fall to corral a bevy Donald Trump's sexual impropriety accusers ,,, to try to sway last year's election. And she did rope in a number of apparently reluctant accusers. However, in order to overcome their shyness, she offered some soiled money incentive ...  collected from wealthy liberals anxious to see Hillary win. These women  accusers were given or offered anywhere from $30,000 to $750,000 to relate their emotive sexual encounters to the national media in hopes of submarineing Trump's chances ... see: The Hill Story to understand how this sliminess worked back then. (Three of these accusers have reemerged recently to try to Harvey-Weinstein Trump. I wonder if they are getting a second round of financing?)

"It's a small world after all."

The Graham-Cassidy healthcare bill met my requirement for passage -- the healthcare insurance companies didn't like it. This meant that they were hit in the pocketbook which then meant that, overall, healthcare costs might go down. So what happened in our country of small people, which I now call Lilliput? Why, a prominant Lilliputian, John McCain, said he was voting "no" (out of spite) which probably kills things.

The king of Lilliput, Donald Trump is calling that North Korean dough boy, Kim Jong Un, names. And this pastry midget is taunting Trump back.

It is difficult to find one world politician these days acting like a grownup ... including that woman who lost the last US presidential election. The entire Democrat party and most of the media are throwing spitballs at their president ... and staying awake nights inventing new insults for him. And he, of course, returns the favors on Twitter. Everything is petty and small. No one is acting the statesman. Even our next generation, the snowflakes, melt at the slightest dog-whistle insult.

We are a nation of little people ... a world of little people ... Lilliputians.

Fake News

President Trump has tagged much of the media ... and in particular CNN ... as "fake news." And, as often happens to the chagrin of liberals, our much maligned president is being proven correct. First, CNN had to retract and apologize for a fake CNN story about a Trump associate being investigated by the Senate for suspicious ties to a major Russian financier ... see: NY Times Story. Three CNN employees have resigned (or been fired) as a result of this embarrassment.

Now, as icing on this fake-news manure cake, James O'Keefe has just released a secretly-recorded tape of a conversation with a CNN producer admitting that the whole Russian narrative being pushed by his network (and many others) for lo these many months was and is "bullshit"! See: Project Veritas. Dispite this grift, it persisted because of the rating bump that this narrative was reaping for Jeff Zucker & Co.

I guess I am not too surprised at these double-barreled revelations about the network that, for years, has been cynically called the Clinton News Network. But the fact that CNN has an exclusive and privileged position in most public venues around the world, suggests to me a far bigger problem. Perhaps, our FCC might find a suitable punishment for CNN's disregard of the truth and the trust that its audience has placed in it? Maybe it could be forced to broadcast with no sound or even subtitles?


Afterward: Perhaps CNN's motto should be changed to "The most trussed name in news"?

Silly Season

President Trump has said and tweeted some things that rub many people the wrong way. In fact I strongly suspect that Trump secretly relishes tweaking his detractors. And this tactic very often works. Liberals, progressives, much of the media, even many squishes in the establishment ,,, and their fellow travelers ... are tying themselves in granny knots to show their contempt for our newly elected president. It does seem that one is not allowed to go half-way in exhibiting one's "resistance" to Trump.

So we have a D-list comedian, Kathy Griffen, pretending to cut off Trump's bloody head, late-night TV and SNL sapping the imaginations of their writers trying to smear with innuendo and even slander Trump. We are even taken aback by Stephen Colbert saying that Trump is Putin's cock holster (implying fellatio). The list goes on and on exhaustively. Now we see the New York City Public Theater putting on Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" in which Caesar is dressed as Trump and is stabbed to the cheers of the partisan crowd (described in the above paragraph) ... see: Daily Wire Story

This Trump "resistance" has become so commonplace, sophomoric, banal and even sinister that we are clearly entering a silly season. Liberals are straining at the yoke to find new ways of insulting Trump ... made even more frustratingly inane by the fact that these intended insults seem to roll right off of our president's back. As a result of this overdoing of this Trump Derangement Syndrome, those on the left are in danger of becoming parodies of themselves ... kinda like a skit out of Monty Python ... if they haven't crossed this threshold already.

The Real James Comey

A little history on our fired formers head of the FBI:

James Comey and Marc Rich -- Marc Rich and his wife gave $550,000 to Clinton honey pots before he got a presidential pardon from Slick Willie ...  but Comey (the US Attorney in charge) could find no quid pro quo.

James Comey and Sandy Berger -- Comey broomed the case against Sandy Berger with a misdemeanor for his stealing and distroying secret documents from the National Archives that the Clintons wanted to disappear. Berger never went to jail.

James Comey and Valarie Plame/Scooter Libby --  Comey was instrumental in appointing  the Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald in this trumped up case. Scooter Libby eventually went to jail for lying to the FBI about the Valarie Plame CIA outing which Richard Armitage had actually done ... and was known in advance by Fitzgerald.

James Comey and "torture" -- Comey legally endorsed the Bush-era memo that OKed enhanced interrogation techniques including waterboarding.

James Comey and the Clinton Foundation -- Comey's brother is deeply involved in the Clinton Foundation finances. Any investigation of the Clinton Foundation would involve Comey's brother.

James Comey and Martha Stewart -- Under Comey's watch Martha Stewart was convicted of lying to the FBI and spend about a year in prison.

James Comey and Hillary Clinton -- Comey gave Hillarry and her henchpersons a bizarre pass on their multitude of crimes while she was SecState.

James Comey and HSBC  -- Comey got a $6.5 million wet kiss when he left the board of this sullied British bank. They had been accused of money laundering.

James Comey and Donald Trump -- You all know this one.

Outrageous

Donald Trump is outrageous. He is braggadocios, He is vain. He lies. He is pugnacious, He is puerile. He is vulgar. He is a super patriot. He loves the trappings of wealth and fortunately is wealthy. He is a bully. He is too loud. He tweets too much. He has a too-beautiful wife ... actually has had three of them ... and lots of too-beautiful children.  And he is successful in most everything he does ... even running for and becoming President of e United States ... ugh!

So how do his enemies react to this outrageous man? Of course, by being outrageous and coming unglued. The Lefties in this  country are tying themselves in knots resisting this outrageous man. After all, outrage is the exclusive bailiwick of liberals and President Trump is an interloper. Chelsea "Potty Mouth" Handler, Code Pink, Congress's Women in White, Act Up, Michael "the Hut" Moore, the George Soros goons, the unruly Dems in the Wisconsin legislature, The View, Berkeley students, Mika "I'm sorry, but" Brzezinski ... and too many more on the hard Left are outraged at this outrage of a president. A century of sleep is lost among these resisters ... thinking up their next stunts or slurs that will make the next day's news ... to display the depth of their outrage.

This is all very humorous ... and outrageous.

Be Careful What You Wish for ...

You may just get it. The media's panties were in a double helix yesterday about Trump's claiming that there were 3 to 5 million illegal voters last November ... illegal aliens, dead people, multiple-state voters. So, media reporters badgered Sean Spicer, Trump's Press Secretary ... asking if Trump had any hard evidence of this voter fraud and, if he didn't, was he going to conduct an investigation into these charges? The media was expressing a wish.

An opening ...

This was the opening that Trump was waiting for ... and so he pounced ... and announced a national investigation into the levels of voter fraud from all sources. And those progressives, who claim that any attempts to keep our voting process kosher is trying to "suppress the vote", may be surprised by the degree of this illegal voting  ... that in turn needs to be suppressed! I do hope that this study is initiated, that it does prove, as I expect and on a bipartisan basis, that such vast voter fraud does exist ... and that this revelation spawns a call for a national voter registration card and possibly other rational remedies.

The media's wish would then be fulfilled ... but maybe not what they really wanted.

Many conservatives are even against such a study because they feel that Trump won the past election and so it is unnecessary ... and this study is just to assuage Trump's ego. However, they are naive and ignoring the future. If this fraud existed in 2016, it will also exist in 2018 and 2020 ... possibly even greater.

Let's get on with it and know for sure what is going on ...

Donald J. Trump is now our new president. When he entered the White House, he found the following To-Do list on the refrigerator:

Implied Threat

Donald Trump has no love for Jeff Bezos and his on-line retailing behemoth, Amazon. Since Bezos personally bought the Washington Post, this newspaper has been going after Trump tooth and nail. And Trump, in return, has implied that Amazon is too big for its britches and is an antitrust threat to much of American retailing. Enter Jack Ma and his Ali Baba corporation which is in roughly the same business in China that Amazon is in in the United States ... and has had designs on expanding it's empire here. So Trump invites Ma to Trump tower where he poses with Ma who pledges to create 1 million jobs in America ... see: CNBC Story.

Although Ali Baba moves more on-line merchandise, Amazon, because of its different business model, has higher revenue. Here is a comparison of the financial performance of these two companies: NASDAQ Article.

This meeting suggest that Trump is once again picking winners and losers in American business ... something I was very critical of Obummer for doing. And even though Amazon probably does need to be reined in somewhat, I am I little chary of Trump playing Teddy Roosevelt and going after this particular corporate excess. But I also feel that Amazon does pose a systemic threat to American industry. (I need to be more decisive.)

Landmines

President Obummer promised Trump a smooth transition to his inauguration on January 20th. Well, once again, he lied. Surprise, surprise! He and his band of desperadoes are doing everything their puny pea brains can conger up to sabotage Trump's upcoming administration. Here is a list of seven of these landmines they have planted ... see: Breitbart Article. I would also add the last-minute packing in of immigrants, the pardoning of large numbers of drug dealers (just what we need with the current epidemic of drug overdoses), a barrage of new regulations and the continued mass releasing of criminal alien felons. And I'm sure that there is more mischief to come. Charles Krauthammer calls these actions  adolescent ... which of course they are. I think I would add spiteful, mean-spirited, un-American and petty. Of late, our current president (I've already suppressed his name) has gone out of his way to burnish his legacy. I suspect that these current actions will tarnish what little luster is left. So, not only will he be regarded by history as a failed president, but will be remembered as having left a turd in the transition punch bowl.

Afterthought: And like Al Capone, who arranged to be in Florida when the St. Valentine's massacre took place in Chicago, our nudnik president is doing many of these dastardly deeds from far away in sunny Hawaii.

Petty Paltry Pukes

For the first time in history, the UN Security Council officially condemned Israel for its settlement programs in Jerusalem and the West Bank ... see: Breitbart Story. Normally, the United States would have vetoed this motion. However this time Obummer had our UN ambassador, Samantha Powers, abstain ... opening the door for the world to express its latent anti-Semitism and to brand Israel as a pariah for as long as the UN exists. After 8 years of pretending to be Israel's friend, Obummer finally took of his mask just when he and his party could avoid significant political consequence.  I can only conclude that these sniveling actions by our president's administration can only peg him and his as petty paltry pukes. Excuse me for being too kind ...

I do hope that Donald Trump takes this rancid resolution as inspiration for the USA to cut the cord to this worthless institution ...

Afterthought: I haven't listened to Rush Limbaugh in years, but I do recall him saying that if liberals accuse someone of something, it is they who are invariably guilty of same. Thus.when they were accusing Steve Bannon and Breitbart of being anti-Semitic Nazis ... in fact they have just demonstrated this behavior in spades ...

Greek Drama

Increasingly, Hellary Clinton's fall from grace is appearing to be a modern Greek tragedy. She and her band of desperadoes are grasping for straws in their frantic attempt to save themselves from drowning under the Trump wave election. Their three state vote recounts have failed in humiliating fashion, the news of the Russians overtly helping Trump to get elected increasingly rings "fake," and now there is their fatuous appeal to Trump electors to abandon honor and vote for Hellary.

What makes this passion play even more full of pathos is that her band of outlaws also included many media luminaries. Or, should I say, many former media luminaries? Those that too enthusiastically sought the embrace of this spider woman may never recover from these humiliating sell-outs of their journalistic ethics. It's as though one is hearing the Greek chorus moaning and groaning over the ending of progressive euphoria.

But, like most Greek dramas, there is a counterpoint. And that is that many patriotic Americans are smiling more and sleeping better ...
