Two Realities

It’s hard to reconcile the world views of the Left and the Right when it comes to President Donald J. Trump. The Orangeman, on a minor miracle, won the presidency in 2016 ... committing the sin of all sins ... beating the brightest woman in the world. As a result, Hillary Clinton has become unglued ... accusing Trump of all sorts of diabolical doings to win. And those who voted for her have also followed her down these rabbit holes ... proffering all kinds of  spittle-flecked pejoratives to slime her victorious foe ... and even try to remove him from office.

We on the Right see these efforts as vindictive ... even possibly treasonous. Since most of this combat has been opinion and not fact, I have suggested in a blog comment to a never-Trumper that we might only resolve these differences with hard guilt-suggesting evidence ... not with overheated rhetoric.

So, I have decided to try to recount all the possible damning physical evidence on both sides ... and see where that gets us. Thus the following lists of tangible naughties:

Lemonade

The Mueller Special Counsel report on the Russian investigation found that Donald Trump and the Trump campaign did dot collude, conspire or cooperate with Russia in the 2016 presidential election ... and did not uncover enough evidence to find, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Trump obstructed justice during  this investigation ... although, strangely, added that it could not “exonerate” him either.

Now Democrats, the mainstream media and much of the deep state seem to be living in an alternative universe in that they are still swearing that Trump did collude with Russia in order to best Hillary Clinton. Additionally, this same cabal is trying to squeeze the last bit of juice out of these dry obstruction-of-justice lemons to keep this controversy alive until at least the 2020 presidential election ... for obvious reasons.

The lemonade that they are pulling out all stops to make seems quite weak indeed. So weak that I have to doubt that it will slake the fair-minded thirst of American voters in the next election. It will just accentuate the pucker of those Democrat sourpusses who made it.

It’s Mueller Time!

Today might be the day ...

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s staff is departing for Greener-New-Deal pastures ... and the world is waiting with debated breath for his report that is supposed to finally drive a well-done steak through Donald Trump’s non-black heart.

Mueller has been charged with determining if Trump and his campaign colluded with Russia to overturn the results of the last presidential election ... and, subsequently, obstructed justice in the investigation of this offense. Mueller is clearly a dichotomy. As a former head of the FBI under Bush ‘43 and Barack Obama, many swear to Mueller’s apolitical and impeccable integrity. While others, like myself, feel that Mueller is in the vanguard of a slow-motion coup against a sitting president. Absolutely shameful!

Why do I feel this way? Because during the last two years enough evidence has presented itself to suggest exactly the opposite ... that it was Hillary Clinton and her henchmen who conspired with Russia to affect the outcome of the 2016 election. Through a cut-out  law firm, the DNC paid for the infamous “PeePee Dossier,” a manufactured and unsubstantiated document which attempted to tie Trump and Company with the Ruskies. It was used illegally to wiretap the Trump campaign and collude with the main stream media to constantly besmirch Trump and destroy many around him.

If Mueller had been an honorable prosecutor, he would have, in the first months of his investigation, swung to investigation the obvious culprits in this drama, Peter Strzok, Bruce Orr, James Comey, Lisa Page, Rod Rosenstein, John Brennan, Loretta Lynch, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates and possibly dozens of others in this Deep-State cabal who came very close to pulling off this disgraceful spook coup.

Many of the innocent have been smeared by Mueller and his thugs ... and all the truly giilty are walking ... a forever stain on our Democratic governance.

The Great Divide

Hillary Clinton, looking down her nose, spoke at Yale's commencement over the weekend, saying that resilience will get her audience though Trump's tumultuous presidency  ... see: CNBC Article. What elitist pap! What pandering pettifoggery! This woman, abetted by the ivory-tower twits in New Haven, is basically reprising her snobbish "basket of deplorables" comment that lost her the last election. She and many in the robed crown there feel that they know more and feel more than the rest of us irredeemables.

This scene was, I'm sure, repeated numerous times with numerous liberal luminaries across America's campuses ... reassuring the graduates that they were better and smarter than those who had labored to set out the chairs and laundered the robes for these august ceremonies. They were assured that only they were the ones who could grasp the depth of the lefty platitudes being offered by these biggies. Some day they would become the speakers and honorary degree recipients in this never-ending cycle of our ruling class.

Just one problem. Donald Trump has opened the eyes of those who are unwashed to what a rotten job our elites like Hillary and Barack and George have been doing managing our country and our interactions with the rest of the world. They have noticed the "let them eat cake" attitude of their betters ... and have said "enough!" The battle lines in this great divide are forming. And, unless our puddin'-headed elites wake up, they will end up taking more lonely walks in the woods, calling the other half "Nazis" and consoling themselves with fine Chardonnay like that Chappaqua doyen.

Surprise!

Is anyone shocked that Special Counsel,  Robert Mueller, has caused his grand jury to issue an indictment or indictments in the Trump-Russia collusion probe? We should know on Monday who the indictee(s) are. Since the revelation that Hillary Clinton and the DNC had indeed colluded with Russia, through the Fusion GPS firm, to try to smear Trump prior to last year's election, the pressure is on Mueller to reverse this reversal. Although the liberal media has been trying to ignore Fusion GPS and the Uranium One scandal, these damaging revelations are beginning to change the narrative in the Deep State's slow motion coup.

So ... Mueller has been forced to pull the trigger on his investigation ... and, I predict, he better hit the target's bullseye. If this first indictment or indictments are not stunners, then it is likely that this special investigation might quickly become a laugher ...

Afterward: My prediction is Paul Manafort ... ,maybe when he was oorking for the Podesta Group ...

Thirty Pieces of Silver

Judas betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver.

It seems that Bill Clinton had Loral Corp. supply China with critical missile technology in exchange for something more than $3 million in China's contributions  to his campaign.

And Hillary Clinton permitted controlling interest in Uranium One, representing 20% of U.S. uranium stockpiles, to be sold to the Russians for its $145 million in donations to the Clinton Foundation.

At the very least the Clintons  apparently have learned to charge much more each time they  sell out their country. Judas Iscariot never learned this economic lesson since there was only one Christ.

Professor Hillary

Hillary Clinton is in negotiations to become a professor at Columbia University ... see: NY Daily News Story.There are a few questions and stipulations surrounding this possible development:

- Will she be charging $250,000 per lecture?

- Will her classroom be under a broken glass ceiling?

- What subject(s) will she be teaching -- Gender Bender Studies? Cattle Futures Trading? The Teachings of Saul Alinsly? Keeping Law Firm Billing Records? Political Ethics? Cookie Baking? What' s Wrong with Constitutional Law? Marital Fidelity? Wine Tasting? The Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic Studies? The Path to Socialism? Ashtray Throwing? Arkansas Real Estate Speculation? Public Speaking for Fun and Profit? Managing a Travel Office? FBI Files Data Mining? Spirit Cooking? The Advantages of Charitable Foundations? and/or How to Run for Political Office?

- She will only teach one hour a day, two days a week ... and never before noon.  She may have substitute guest lecturers chosen from among her friends -- Hubby Bubba, Harvey Weinstein, Ayatollah Khamenei, Barack Obama, John Forbes Kerry, John Podesta, Huma Abadin, Madelaine Albright, Mohamed Morsi, and Beelzebub. She still will be paid the same under these circumstances.

- The name of this university must be changed to something more PC.

Some Obvious Observations

If the United State could inflict devastating punishment on North Korea for their nuclear belligerence (without starting WW III), Iran might have second thoughts about its quest for atomic weaponry.

The Democrats' real objective after Obamacare was not just 'single payer' but 'single provider' too.

Trump is ever so slowly adjusting to his role as president. We occasionally are seeing glimpses of his incipient liberal tendencies.

Possibly Obama's most grievous failure as president (and there were many) was putting America's missile defense system on the back burner.

The Democrat party has a very thin bench of moderates. Most of its younger hopefuls are unacceptably radicalized.

Hillary Clinton and her band of media outlaws, by demonizing Russia as the reason for her defeat, have possibly removed the Kremlin as a natural ally in the war against radical jihadism and in reining in North Korea.

If protectionism causes world-wide depressions, why hasn't China, the second largest economy in the world, with its onerous import policies, tripped this wire?

Global warming alarmists are losing their propaganda war primarily because their dire predictions are not coming to pass. The world is slowly waking up to this massive fraud and those, who refuse to admit the folly of their ways, are getting even more desperately strident in their rhetoric.

China is gradually losing its advantage as a mercantile giant and, unless it can add a new engine for growth, runs the risk of having all its bad bank loans pull the country into a Japan-like economic morass.

Cryptocurrencies (like Bitcoin) , in as few as ten years, could bring about the next source of world-wide economic collapse.

Elon Musk will NOT have landed, as promised, anyone on Mars by the end of 2018 ... or even by 2020.

OK ... let's take some bank fraud, money laundering, possible blackmail of Congressmen, likely kickbacks, a suspicious bankruptcy, e-mail hacking, espionage, stealing, double billing, aiding and abetting of terrorism, etc., etc. ... mix it all together with a high-level cover up ... sounds like a pretty juicy [Democrat] scandal,for our MSM right? Nope ... not when you spend all your reportage on how the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians to defeat the incorruptible Hillary Clinton for president ... which, to date, has resulted in dozens of dead ends.

This story has been around since at least February, but its only coverage to speak of has been in a few on-line news sites, the NY Post and Fox News. It involves the Awans, three Pakistani brothers, and two wives who all worked in IT for Democrat House representatives ... each earning the maximum of $160,000 per annum for mostly no-show jobs. The other shenanigans that this quintet were involved in will curl your hair. But rather than recanting all of them here, I suggest you read it in this synopsis: The Biggest Scandal You Never Heard Of. And the oldest Awan brother was just arrested trying to flee the country after wiring hundreds of thousands of dollars back to Pakistan. Some of the others have already slipped out.

Slow-motion Coup

We've seen this movie before. President Richard Nixon was hounded from office by a cabal of the American media, the Democrat party and millions of naive Republicans (myself included). It took roughly two years but in the end the pressure of the elite classes finally flipped the Republican political leadership to abandon Nixon over his obvious attempt to cover up for a petty Watergate break-in ... meant to do nothing more than stop the Deep State leaks inside his administration, (Remember the "plumbers" was the name of those who broke into the DNC to find the source of these leaks.)

Now, taking a lesson from this successful slow-motion coup, a similar group is attempting these same tactics to negate the 2016 vote of the American people in electing Donald Trump president. The logic behind this coup is that the drip, drip, drip of unsavory revelations about Trump and Company will eventually turn even the most ardent of his supporters against him ... and he will be driven from office. Clearly the Special Counsel Mueller has the backing of much of the media and the Democrat party (read a vindictive Hillary Clinton) in this overthrow attempt. There is one small difference this time however ... so far defining Trump's crime is dicey at best. Throw in that Trump is doing, to the best of his ability, what the voters sent him to Washington to do.

Also, as I first stated, we have seen this movie before. The script and the players are familiar to anyone who lived through Watergate ... except possibly for Bob Woodward. From recent interviews, I get the distinct impression that he has reflected on what part he played in Nixon's ouster and is less likely to take up the assassination pen this time around.

In many ways this (and Nixon's) cabal reminds me of that great novel "The Caine Mutiny" which I read many years ago. Here, Quegg, captain of a old rusty minesweeper, now a resupply ship, the Caine, was masterfully painted as the unstable, eccentric villain throughout most of the book ... until his second in command mutinies and takes over the ship in a storm. He, court marshaled for this offense, is acquitted when Quegg breaks down while testifying. Then the author, Herman Wouk, turns things upside down by making Quegg into the demi-hero for doing his small part in the much bigger picture of the war in the Pacific. Although annoying, nothing that Quegg had done deserved the disloyalty of his holier-than-thou crew. In a blink of an eye, the villain in this book became the protagonist.

So Trump is clearly eccentric and makes enemies at the drop of a tweet. But he is doing the job that the American voters asked him to do ... despite all the obstacles thrown up by the Democrats, the elite media and the establishment Republicans ... a job much more difficult than need be. Instead of his enemies taking him down with a Caesar-like assassination ... for which this country wouldn't stand ... they are opting for another slow-motion coup ... in many ways much more sinister and morally repugnant ... much like the naive crew of the Caine.

The Real James Comey

A little history on our fired formers head of the FBI:

James Comey and Marc Rich -- Marc Rich and his wife gave $550,000 to Clinton honey pots before he got a presidential pardon from Slick Willie ...  but Comey (the US Attorney in charge) could find no quid pro quo.

James Comey and Sandy Berger -- Comey broomed the case against Sandy Berger with a misdemeanor for his stealing and distroying secret documents from the National Archives that the Clintons wanted to disappear. Berger never went to jail.

James Comey and Valarie Plame/Scooter Libby --  Comey was instrumental in appointing  the Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald in this trumped up case. Scooter Libby eventually went to jail for lying to the FBI about the Valarie Plame CIA outing which Richard Armitage had actually done ... and was known in advance by Fitzgerald.

James Comey and "torture" -- Comey legally endorsed the Bush-era memo that OKed enhanced interrogation techniques including waterboarding.

James Comey and the Clinton Foundation -- Comey's brother is deeply involved in the Clinton Foundation finances. Any investigation of the Clinton Foundation would involve Comey's brother.

James Comey and Martha Stewart -- Under Comey's watch Martha Stewart was convicted of lying to the FBI and spend about a year in prison.

James Comey and Hillary Clinton -- Comey gave Hillarry and her henchpersons a bizarre pass on their multitude of crimes while she was SecState.

James Comey and HSBC  -- Comey got a $6.5 million wet kiss when he left the board of this sullied British bank. They had been accused of money laundering.

James Comey and Donald Trump -- You all know this one.
