Consequences

President Obummer and a phalanx of pissants have stated that global warming is at the root of terrorism ,,, see: Washington Post Story? This sounds logical to me ... and leads me to disclose the following other consequences I've uncovered of our planet's heating up 0.74 degrees Celsius over that last 110 years.

- Many of the best Hollywood actors and actresses of the 1940s and 1950s have passed away
- Pope Francis has donated all the Vatican's vast treasure to Save the Whales (he hasn't?)
- Michelle Obama's school lunches have made our kids thin (could also be because they don't eat them)
- Transgender bathrooms have been conscripted
- Lady Gaga invented twerking out of desperation
- China has decided to turn the entire South China Sea into a military base and amusement park
- Tipper Gore has divorced Al Gore (could also be because he lost the chad war)
- The U.S. economy has been stagnant for the last seven years
- Vladamir Putin of Russia keeps taking off his shirt
- HIV/AIDS has infected large swaths of the other sexes
 - President William Jefferson Clinton, against his will, became oversexed
- Blogging has become a popular way of exhibiting societal frustration

The Pope's Hot Potato

On Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington, DC claimed that Pope Francis was merely trying to start a debate or a dialog on global warming with his recent Encyclical. However, it appears that, at his recent climate summit at the Vatican, global warming doubters were not invited ... see: Washington Post Story.

So much for opening a dialog on this political hot potato.

A New Station of the Cross

Apparently our modern society has become obsessed with our backsides. Witness Kim Kardashian's popularity (see: Juxtaposition LII) and a bunch of puerile Dartmouth College students' expressed curiosity about Texas Governor Rick Perry's anus (see: Bile Green). Now, some equally infantile feminists in Rome have decided that crucifixes make fine sex toys for insertion into their posteriors. A group of three topless oinkers from the Ukraine called Femen demonstrated outside of the Vatican protesting the Pope's planned visit to the European Parliament ... see: The Gateway Pundit.

Their attempt to rouse or arouse their onlookers with their 15th station of the cross certainly made international new reports ... but I don't think that Pope Francis was that impressed.

The Sound of Crickets

Two days ago the Vatican called on Muslims to condemn "barbaric" jihad in Iraq ... see: Breitbart Story. So far all we have is the sound of crickets ...

(Except, that is, for the sound of the dance band at the all-night party that President Obama and the Clinton's attended yesterday on Martha's Vineyard ... see: Breitbart Story.)

Paedophilia

Cardinal Law

Pope Francis has said that one in fifty clergy in the Catholic Church are paedophiles … and that this is a leprosy eating away at his mission. And that he also has sworn to "confront it with the severity it demands." For more on this, see: BBC Story.

A good start for His Holiness would be to defrock and excommunicate Francis Cardinal Law … and kick him out of the posh sinecure he now enjoys at the Vatican City. This would go a long way.

Afterward: I obviously have become Britified with my spelling of "pedophelia."
