An Apt Comparison

Like clockwork, the New York Times has reported that Russia had bribed Afghans to kill American soldiers ... and President Trump ignored this intelligence and still wanted to invite Putin to the G-7 meeting this week ... all to compound the Orangeman’s recent poll slippage.

Like most Times stories, we don’t and probably can’t know if this reportage is true.

But, this sniper attack invites a partisan comparison ... OK? Now it was well verified that many of the IEDs that were used in Iraq to kill and maim thousands of American soldiers were made in Iran and supplied to the Iraqi insurgents. Sooo, how did the Obama regime respond to this Iranian evil? Well, as far as I remember, they negotiated a sham nuclear pact that gave Iran $150 billion in bank transfers ... and $1.8 billion in hard cash ... a bit more than a meeting invitation.

Did the Gray Lady draw a similar tut-tut back when Iran was killing Americans?

You know the answer.

News Flash!

Adam Schiff, with Nancy Pelosi’s blessing, has initiated another Trump impeachment inquiry in the House Intelligence Committee ... this time for gloating at yesterday’s prayer breakfast and press conference. It is also rumored that Trump’s failure to shake Pelosi’s hand at his State of the Union address will be a separate count. Schiff, in his announcement said that Trump’s actions were a ‘Constitutional crisis’ and ‘no one is above the law.’

Schiff’s list of expected witnesses in these new hearings includes Michael Avenatti, Vladimir Putin, Carol Blasey Ford, Baron Trump, Mitt Romney and Joy Bahar. The stated schedule for these hearings has an expected end-date this coming October.

The Mole

Vladamir Putin cut his teeth in the KGB, the sinister and very effective Russian spy agency. And so Putin is very effective in the black arts of intelligence operations — espionage, moles, election meddling, counter spying, sewing division in a hostile government, fulminating insurrections, even killing dissidents, etc.

Russia has been very persistent in these spook activities. It runs circles around most Western governments who seem to spend most of their intelligence efforts on domestic political intrigue. The United States in particular has allowed Russian interests to supersede many of its own self interests ... particularly when it comes to weapons systems. For years, under Democrat administrations, the US under-funded anti-missile defense systems, deferred upgrading our nuclear arsenal, ignored Russian and Chinese territorial expansion and stopped safeguarding our uranium supplies.

How come? The answer is simple: sellouts for personal benefit. The Clintons, Bidens and even likely the Obamas have gotten enormously wealthy by trading off US national security for dirty Russian and Chinese money. And who is pushing back against this corruption? Answer: our current president, Donald J. Trump.

So why in God’s name would the Russians help the Orangeman get elected and then re-elected? It is clearly against its national interests. And one can rationally assume that, if the Russians had a mole in the US, that it would activate it to help defeat this foe. They might even, in a classic case of double switch, accuse Trump of colluding with the Russians! He would then be defeated at the polls ... and this would neuter this enemy and return the US to a more accommodating posture.

Therefore, my candidate for this perfect Russian mole (other than the above-ground Clintons, Bidens and even Obamas), would be a deep-cover Adam Schiff. It could be ... he certainly is shifty enough.

Afterward: I realize that some of you, kind readers, may think this post a bridge too far. But, this is no more radical than Hillary Clinton saying that Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian asset ... or a three year witch-hunt claiming that Trump colluded with Putin to get elected  ... which, if you remember, came up empty.

Tidbits

- During the attack on the US compound in Benghazi, our intelligence agencies picked up electronic communications coming out of there in Farsi (Persian). The suspicion was that this operation was directed by Iran’s Soleimani.

- The Diplomad suggests that the above Benghazi speculation may be true and also that Iran may have given up Soleimani to the US because he was creating too many problems for the Iran leaders ... see: The Diplomad.

- It is reported that President Trump convinced Putin NOT to supply Iran with Russia’s latest anti-ballistic missiles last year ... a major win for us and loss for Iran. (Obviously another case of Trump colluding with Russia.)

- DC scuttlebutt has it that Pelosi’s timing of sending the impeachment articles to the Senate may have been to disadvantage Senators Bernie and Warren by tying them up before the Iowa caucus ... and therefore favoring Biden.

- Mark Steyn revealed today on the Rush Limbaugh radio show that Prince Harry and Meghan Markel, while in Canada, will be staying at the house of the billionaire who had sold 20% of America’s uranium to Russia ... with the blessing of Comey and Hillary. You can’t make this stuff up!

- Mark Steyn also revealed that, during the Bill Clinton impeachment trial, he was covering it and staying at the Mayflower hotel in DC. Toward the end of the trial, Monica Lewinsky, as a potential witness, was also staying at this same hotel. One morning, Mark Steyn pushed the elevator button to go up to his room. When the elevator door opened, there was Monica who waved him off saying, “I’m going down.”

The Real Russian Collusion (Updated)

Why was our Ambassador Marie Yovanovich recalled by Trump the very night before the new reform Ukrainian President Zelensky was inaugurated?

Could it be that Yovanovich had been too close to the former corrupt Ukrainian President Poroshenko and seemed to be a pebble in the shoe of any future U.S.-Ukraine relations ... working against Trump and his attempt to get to the root of the previous Biden-Burisma corruption and 2016 U.S. election-meddling fraud? Could it be that Zelensky didn’t want her to attend his inauguration and that is why she was told to get on “the next plane?”

Obviously I don’t know this for sure, but such timing cannot be coincidental ... and it is revealing that, if this nexus got out, it would not be beneficial to either country.

But Zelensky clearly favors Trump over Obama ... see: Washington Exanimer Story. After all, Obama and his Ambassador Yovanovich were hostile ... and had favored the Russians ... and I surmise were colluding with them (evidence: no Obama arms assistance to the Ukraine, nor any real pushback when Russia annexed the Crimea. Also don’t forget Obama saying to Medvedev on a hot mic to tell Putin that “After my election I’ll have more flexibility” (see below). That was in 2012 ... Russia annexed Crimea in early 2014.

Like most Democrat accusations, too often, they themselves are doing what they are accusing  ...

Insidious!
