A kind reader, Tom, has forwarder an interview by Bill Maher of Doctor David Katz of Yale University that replicates about 90% of what the two California doctors were saying in their censored coronavirus YouTube video. Of course Maher views it through a liberal lens which makes it permissible. But truth is truth no matter how it is slanted.

I hope those idiots at Google restore the video of the California doctors so you can see more of this truth from the trenches.

Maher is both a genius for having this guy on and an idiot for taking it as an opportunity to once again bash Trump and FoxNews. Unnecessary.

Recession Cheerleaders

Bill Maher is hoping for an American recession in order to help defeat Trump in next year’s election ... see: Daily Wire Story. And he is not alone. Many liberals would love to see the China trade war so damage the US economy that voters would reject Trump in 2020. Remember, “It’s the economy, stupid!”in 1992 which turned out to be prophetic?

Groupthink

Liberal Bill Maher finally addressed the students at that liberal bastion, UCal Berkeley, on Saturday and told students to avoid “groupthink” (that famous and insightful term from George Orwell’s book, “1984”) … be an individual, a free thinker. He ironically also cajoled them to be soldiers in the fight against climate change. “I hope all of you here today consider the environment to be paramount among the many challenges we face.” See: Breitbart Article.

Need I point out the obvious to you dear reader? The religion of climate change is one of the most blatant examples today of "groupthink." Bill Maher might just as well have been speaking “newspeak,” warning of “thoughtcrimes” to the “Ministry of Truth” members at “Airstrip One” (other insightful terms from “1984”). Maher, much as he likes to view himself, clearly is no hammer thrower.

Snake Eating Its Own Tail

Bill Maher is sounding more and more like a right-winger with every of his passing HBO shows ... see: Breitbart Video. This is a video of another of his monologues with which I can mostly agree. Can somebody ... like a snake eating its own tail ... become so liberal that one ends up being a conservative?

Grown-up Children

Bill Maher is now preaching to Charlie Rose about the dangers of Islam ... see: Breitbart Story. Is this the same Bill Maher who once said that the Islamists who flew the planes into the World Trade Center on 9/11/01 were the brave ones ... not the United States? (See: SnowSpot Media Story.)

In thirteen years, maybe even grown-up children can grow up.

Sarah Silverman

along with Jane Fonda and Lena Dunham, have just been honored by the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) as “Women Who Make America” … see: Haaretz Story. Now Ms. Silverman is a bit of an iconoclast and femi-nazi (a Rush Limbaugh term) so it is not surprising that she is being so honored.  But if you want to sample Ms. Silverman’s schtick take a gander at the following video clip (excuse the ad): Breitbart Video.  If you don’t find this just the tiniest bit offensive, then you have been watching too much Bill Maher.

Now, aren’t we all so proud and excited that politically-neutral PBS gets substantial taxpayer funding?

My Ears are Steaming

There is steam coming from my ears.  Blowhard Bill Maher yesterday had the knock-kneed temerity to slander World War II veterans  as “[not] the brightest generation.” This was due to their entering the WWII Memorial that had been Barry-caded as a result of the impasse over our government’s 2014 funding (aka, the “continuing resolution”) ... see: Breitbart Story. 

Mole-rat Maher has a supposed comedic show on HBO wherein he launches equivalent incendiary commentary to an audience of other know-nothings.  After 9/11/2001, on a previous show on ABC, he said that it was the U.S. military who were cowards and not the Islamic extremists who drove the planes into the World Trade Center ... see: Mediate Story.  He was quickly to leave that gig.

I sincerely hope that one of our “greatest generation” octogenarians calls out this 57-year old misanthropic pipsqueak, Maher, over his cheap characterizations.  Then we will really find out who is the coward.

Rush to Judgment

I listen to Rush Limbaugh on the radio quite often ... although lately he has been more grating than usual.  Although he feigns impartiality, he is totally in the tank for Rick Santorum to be the next Republican nominee for President.  This is based upon his postulate that only true conservatives win for the Republicans ... and Romney is a McCain/Dole/Ford country-club clone who will be clobbered this fall in the debates and at the voting booths.  He says that he will rally behind whomever the nominee is ... but I kind of doubt it.  After all, if Mitt Romney gets the nod and loses, won't this just prove Rush's conservative-purist thesis?

Now Rush is in another pickle.  Apparently, he called that female Georgetown law student (who went viral with her demand that the government ... via this Catholic university ... should pay for her contraceptives) a "prostitute" and a "slut."  Although I didn't hear him say these exact things, I did hear him say that this student was having so much sex that she couldn't afford her own "protection" and so she wanted others to pay for her libido extravagances ... equivalent, I suppose, to these one-word slurs.  As a result Rush has lost, at latest count, seven sponsors, and he was forced to apologize nationally to this woman over the weekend.  (You have to understand, this is something that Rush never does, so this was tantamount to his eating crow in a cow-pie sandwich.)

I am somewhat ambivalent about these developments due to my distaste for Rush's current manic and easily-read antipathy toward Romney.  So as Joel Grey sang in Cabaret, "money makes the world go around ...", and Rush's lifestyle is such that I think he would find it difficult to start to economize.  And I do hope this incident brings a smidgen of humility to his often brilliant political commentary.  Perhaps now we can get a few advertisers also to pull away from Bill Maher (called Sarah Palin a "twat"), Rachel Maddow (called Teaparty members, "teabaggers" ... a sexual act between gay men), Ed Schultz (called Laura Ingraham, a "right-wing slut")  and Chris Matthews (said "Newt Gingrich looks like a car bomber") ... among many other slurs eminating from the Left?  KBI

Which Witch?

Christine O’Donnell , the Republican candidate for the Senate in Deleware, admitted a number of years ago on the Bill Maher Show that she had briefly dabbled in witchcraft when she was in high school.  The question then is: was she Glinda, the Good Witch of the South?  Or perhaps, was she the Wicked Witch of the West?  Nah, that title already belongs to Nancy Pelosi ... who, instead of having a house fall on her, is crushing the House.
