According to Snopes, these are mugshots of some who were arrested not in Charlottesville but in this spring's  Portland, OR May Day rally ... some of whom are likely unmasked ANTIFA members. Are we beginning to see a pattern here? They seem sullen too ... (click to enlarge).

Astroturf

Based in Los Angeles, the Astroturf (fake grass-roots) recruiter, Crowds on Demand, is offering $25 an hour to demonstrate or counter-demonstrate at rallies around the country. Peruse their website at: Crowds on Demand.

It is speculated that many of the provocateurs that were at Charlottesville and who are expected at the Free Speech rally on Saturday in Boston have or will come through this organization  ... see: Zero Hedge Story. If I were younger, I might even be tempted ... (just kidding)

I realize that many of you on the left will have a brain cramp at this news ... so here is some push-back from your comfort pony: Snopes Analysis. Snopes conclusion is "Unproven" which, for this bevy of boo-birds, is as good as a "True" endorsement.

Checking the Checker

Snopes is one of the more famous Internet fact-checker sites which has been chosen by Facebook to aid in its designations of "fake news" stories. However, it's objectivity has come under question recently as it always seems to pooh-pooh stories critical of liberals. However, recent revelations cast a long shadow on the moral turpitude of the operators and checkers on this "arbiter of truth" ... see: Daily Caller Revelations. Knowing that many of you readers don't follow hyperlinks, I have reproduced some of the juicier passages below:

The founder of mythbusting website Snopes, which was recently tapped by Facebook as one of four “fact-check” organizations patrolling the site for “fake news,” embezzled $98,000 in company funds before spending it on “himself and the prostitutes he hired,” according to legal documents filed by his ex-wife reviewed by the Daily Mail. 

After divorcing from his first wife, Barbara Mikkelson, David Mikkelson married Elyssa Young, a former porn star and current escort who now works for Snopes as an administrator, according to the Daily Mail. 

The Daily Mail also revealed that top Snopes “fact-checker” Kim LaCapria claimed on her personal blog that she has “posted to Snopes” after smoking marijuana. As TheDC previously revealed, LaCapria describes herself as “openly left-leaning” and once claimed that Republicans fear “female agency.” 

As originally reported by TheDC, Snopes almost exclusively employs leftists as fact-checkers, many of whom have exhibited a clear distaste for Republican voters. TheDC could not identify a single Snopes fact-checker who comes from a conservative background.

Also, I thought it might be fair and interesting to see what Snopes has to say about these disclosures. Unfortunately, as of this publication time, I can find no comment. But you can check for yourself ... see: Snopes.

Spy Fry

Spies are supposed to be slippery ... and is there anyone more opaque and shady than John Brennan who heads the CIA, our major spy organization? He has even stated that the US should not be spying on other countries! What, our spy organization, not spying on other countries? Are they just going to read foreign newspapers and write boring reports? (Something like what I do here.)

The CIA recently was known to be the source of the leak that Russia was supposedly hacking the Democrats' e-mails to help Trump get elected president ... a clear political move on the CIA's part. Why would the CIA allow itself to become so involved in such partisan nonsense? Perhaps because John Brennan is also an Obummer stooge?

I have written before about the clay feet that Brennan too often sports ... see: Connecting the Dots, Heads Should Roll, It's My CIA Now, Acolytes and I Spy Not (wherein Brennan questions the role of his agency). Could it be that Brennan is the one orchestrating these oblique attacks on Trump?

Now more information has come to my attention about Brennan's political and religious leanings ... see: American Thinker for some careful insights and, a little bit more sensationalized, yet also well researched, Intrepid Reporter. (Please read them ... they are engrossing.) Basically, the worrisome implication of these two pieces is that Brennan is a Muslim convert ... and a Wahhabist at that ... as a result of spending many years on post in Saudi Arabia. It is also speculated that he has drawn around him at the CIA other Muslims in positions of influence. This, to me, is quite disturbing ... and reinforces my suspicions about Obummer's too kind feelings toward the Religion of Peace.

For you liberals, I'll save you some time ... Snopes deems this speculation as UNPROVEN (see: Snopes) which, to me ... considering the current reputation of this lefty site, is as good as verifying things.

Where Angels Fear to Tread

I have been warned by a friend to not pursue Obama’s possible Social Security number purloining mentioned in my previous blog entry.  And there are too two other discordant Obama anomalies that have been deemed taboo by the popular narrative … Obama’s actual birthplace and his missing college records (applications, grade transcripts, etc.). Like a moth drawn to a flame, your blogster’s curiosity is peeked by these no-nos … and recent revelations make it even more difficult to follow the crowd in eschewing these mysteries. Maybe if it were just the birth certificate kafuffle, I would leave it alone. But the fact that Obama’s Chicago legal team has spent millions of dollars to block access to this info, arouses my radical-right tropisms. Here are the references to these recent Obama revelations … along with a few of my observations:

1) Social Security number – See: SS Number Challenge. This woman seems to know her stuff … and has carefully documented her misgivings about Obama’s possible Social Security number malfeasance.

2) Birthplace – See: American Thinker and LA Times Story. Yes, Sheriff Joe does have a bone to pick with the Obama administration … just like they with him. However, why did it take over three years for this “document” to be released? And if Obama’s long-form birth certificate is indeed a forgery, won’t it go down in the annals of history as a major sullying of the U.S. Constitution?

3) College records – See: The Blaze.  (If, in fact, these college records still exist.) Again, this fellow obviously has it in for Obama, but why haven’t we seen a slew of thoughtful rebuttals to his recent allegations?

I will leave it to you Obama’s supporters to “snopes” the disproofs to these suppositions. Personally, I have found Snopes, once a fair-minded fact checker, increasingly to seem to be an arm of the Democrat National Committee. And since Harry Reid has established the template that, to clear up his charges that Romney paid no taxes for ten years … Romney must comply with Reid's disclosure demand, can’t the opposition also claim that Obama can solve the above enigmas by letting in the cleansing sunlight of complete disclosure?

I fully expect brickbats to follow … but then I’m no angel.
