Today’s Poser

Pilgrim, I know that climatology is a ragtag science, but to my simple mind, if our planet is getting hotter, wouldn’t that mean increased evaporation from our rivers, lakes and oceans … and thus more rain, not less … fewer droughts, not more? — Fletcher

(I’m sure there is a pretzel-logic explanation for this logical inconsistency.)

So the undeniable increase in droughts, worldwide erosion of glaciers, melting at the poles, incursion of new species at Galapagos must be caused by global cooling?
In fact "More rain" is happening and results in devastating floods worldwide which are killing thousands.

You know not all the facts of what you claim … and are inferring things I did not write. Global cooling is not necessarily not global warming. My only claim is that global anything is not proven to me … and likely not provable in the short run by the squishy science of climatology.
