Mt. Rushmore

Where are the Left leading their snowflake acolytes? Like the Taliban did to that huge stone Buddha in Afghanistan, they are jackhammering the presidents' faces off of Mt. Rushmore. The above picture was taken when they were 3/4s done. The plan is to replace these old dead white presidents with likeness of Barack Obama, Hugo Chavez, Mao and Pol Pot.

Next, the plan is to dynamite the Confederate generals' likenesses off of Stone Mountain, Georgia. Suggested replacements include Ho Chi Minh, Saul Alinsky and Bill Ayers.

FU America

President Obummer, instead of blowing kisses to his constituency as he leaves for his coming life of abject luxury ... wherein he is expected to rake in at least a billion dollars of tribute, is instead giving the one finger salute to his countrymen. One of many of his parting gifts is the commutation of the sentences of 1715 drug offenders (more than the last 12 presidents combined, see: USA Today Story  ... mostly amphetamine or heroine or crack cocaine dealers and manufacturers) who, according to source research done by Howie Carr, over a third of which had used guns in the commission of their crimes (likely quite a bit higher percentage since many gun offenses are often plea-bargained away to obtain a guilty drug plea.) Apparently gun control is, cynically, quite a relative thing to Obummer.

The obvious question is: How many of these drug offenders will return to a life of crime and exacerbate the opioid and drug epidemic that this nation is currently suffering? Recidivism rates are generally quite high among such criminals. Studies have shown that as many as 41% of such offenders will be re-arrested within the first year after release! See: National Institute of Justice for interesting data. Now, may we assume that Obummer's vetting process cuts this number in half ... down to 20%. This still means that, as a parting gift, Obummer has punished us with 340 bad guys out to corrupt our children and grandchildren with their evil goods. (And I am sure the numbers will be substantially higher.) What a sinister way to say goodbye and "thank you" to American for all that has come his way.

And why would Obummer perform this evil deed? Perhaps because he was a heavy drug user himself in his youth and identifies with the equivalent of his former suppliers?

Among others (see: Washington Post Article), he has also commuted the 35 year sentence of Chelsea (née Bradley) Manning for treason. This transgender seditious soldier, Manning, will be released after serving less than 10% of this easily justifiable sentence. (He could have and probably should have been executed.) I wonder what Obummer saw in Manning that inspired him to empathize with this scumbag? I wonder?

Lastly, Obummer also granted clemency to Oscar Lopez Rivera, the FALN terrorist who killed 6 people and was an ally of Fidel Castro ... shades of his "neighbor," the Weather Underground bomber Bill Ayers.

Are we beginning to see a pattern here?

Roots

The Diplomad, who has spent considerable time acting as our official representative in Muslim countries and can offer an unique perspective on same, has just written in his blog a reprise of our president's background ... investigating why Obama may have deep sympathies for the Muslim religion ... and thus be somewhat paralyzed to address its more violent tendencies ... see: Obama, a Muslim Hater of America?. Obama has even slipped into saying that he was a Muslim ... see: First Bing Video ... and has often extolled this faith to great lengths ... see: Second Bing Videos ... far further than his somewhat less enthusiastic treatment of Christianity (remember his National Prayer Breakfast slights?)

But what the Diplomad has left out of this tracing of Obama's roots is his possible relation with Bill Ayers' father, Thomas Ayers. Admittedly this relationship is somewhat fuzzy and speculative but it is worth a gander and some further study ... see: WND Article ... perhaps we'll see more in history books yet to be written. Also let us not forget that Obama's half brother, Malik Obama, is the international finance officer for the Muslim Brotherhood ... see: WND Article.

But there has to be some reason why our president is unable to separate the wheat from the chaff in the Islamic faith ... and this may well be the imprinting from his childhood ... augmented by the warped view, learned on his mother's knee, of the sins of the country he now leads.

Our Next Attorney General

Since Eric Holder has announced his departure from this post, there has been great speculation as to whom President Obama might name to replace him. Such names as Deval Patrick, current Governor of Massachusetts, have popped up … even though he strenuously denies that he is in the running. That being the case, I would like to offer my suggestions as to who it might be. How about?

      -        Lani Guinier – lawyer, rejected nominee to the Supreme Court

-        Bill Ayers – former Barack Obama neighbor, often needing a lawyer

-        George Clooney – played a lawyer in “Intolerable Cruelty”

-        Bill Clinton – disbarred lawyer for lying under oath

-        Lynne Stewart – The Blind Sheikh’s lawyer, convicted of abetting terrorism

-        Michelle Obama – former lawyer and famed nutritionist

-        Eliot Spitzer – roue, lawyer and former governor of New York

-        Anthony Weiner – out-of-work protégée of the lawyer, Charles Schumer

Ghosts

I sometimes wonder if any national name ever writes his/her own books.  Bill Ayers is generally thought to have written at least one of Barack Obama's pre-presidential pufferies. Now we learn that Hillary Clinton’s new book “Hard Choices” (is the title a homage to Bill’s many bimbos?) was written by Ted Widmer of Harvard and Brown Universities … see: Showbiz Story.  And that her previous pocketbook filler, “It Takes a Village” was written by Barbara Feinman of Georgetown University … for the paltry sum of $120,000.

In the old days such shenanigans were outed when we were treated to the “As Told to” revelation on the book jacket. Not anymore … our politicians have become such mechanized frauds that their ghoulish ghost writers generally remain apparitions.

Afterthought: There is probably also reason to question the "As Told by" process of this Hillary book. Would her posse of metrosexual spin doctors and Muslim Brotherhood wannabes (all paid for by the Clinton Foundation) collectively construct the content of this political propaganda? You bet your bippy ...

Three Ideas

Here are a few ideas I have that I would love to have adopted ... or have the time, money and energy to implement:

How to eradicate the Asian jumping carp – It would seem that the fact that these junk fish leap out of the water when disturbed by the vibrations from an outboard motor is their vulnerability.  They are mostly located in Midwest rivers but are feared to be moving into the Great Lakes (see: CBS News Story).  Before they do in mass, I would think that flotillas of outboard-motor boats with large expanses of above-water outrigger nets could traverse back and forth through their habitats … catching them therein … to be dispatched and converted in a nearby fish fertilizer plant. I don’t believe that it would take more than a few months of such harvesting to totally cleanse a given area … and the resulting fish fertilizer can be sold to offset part of the cost of this cleanup.

How to discover who wrote President Obama’s two books – Bill Ayers has just released a book titled, Public Enemy, Confessions of an American Dissident.  It is widely suspected that Ayers was the ghost writer of Barack Obama’s two books, Dreams from My Father and The Audacity of Hope.  One need then just get an electronic copy of Bill Ayers’ book and the same for Obama’s two books.  Then one can apply a sophisticated authorship analysis program (see: SSRN Paper) to test the text of these books for similarities.  This can provide a measure of confidence as to whether any of these books have a common author.  This could be very revealing.

How better to calibrate salt in recipes – Cookbooks very often call for a pinch of salt (or other spices). This is a very imprecise measure.  I propose that this instruction be modified by the terms: two-finger pinch ..., three-finger pinch ..., etc.  A five-finger pinch might approximate a half a teaspoon whereas a two-finger pinch is just a smidgen.

Breaking Wind

This Sunday’s New York Times magazine section had an Acrostic puzzle which, when solved, had a quote from David Mamet about how the weather strangely often follows the moods of man.  This fits nicely into what I was thinking about writing in today’s blog … hurricanes and global warming.

Just this past late May, NOAA predicted that the United States could have a very active hurricane season with 7 to 11 named hurricanes and with 3 to 6 being of the major category … see: NOAA News Story.  This then would be further justification for the global-warming alarmists … such as our chief climatologist in the White House.

Now we are almost through August and these dire predictions, once again, have proven to be a fart in a wind storm.  There have, so far, been no Atlantic-based hurricanes making 2013 one of the slowest starts of the hurricane season on record … see: Wordpress Story.  (Pay no attention to the chart there listing hurricanes by President … it is meaningless since it doesn’t account for the number of their terms.)

Yes, hurricane season is not over until November, so there is still time for this pessimism to come true.  Accuweather, a site I respect, predicts that things might still get dicey … see: Accuweather Story.  But if weathermen (not including Bill Ayers) can’t accurately forecast how things will develop in just the coming months, how are they going to nail how things will be over the next decade or two?

Big Bang Theories

The heinous and gruesome Patriot's Day bombings at the finish line of the Boston Marathon are still being sorted out.  The best reporting that I can find to date is here:  NY Times Article.  But there are a number of comments and theories that are reflecting on what clearly appears to be a terrorist(s) act:

- President Barack Obama, who has not yet indicated that this was an act of terror, said, that “any responsible individuals, any responsible groups, will feel the full weight of justice.” … virtually the same pledge he gave shortly after the Benghazi terrorist attacks in which four Americans were killed … over six empty months ago.  Please reference: ABC News Story.

- Attorney General Eric Holder may think that these attacks were an act of “sports-related violence” just as he is thought to have caused the labeling of the Fort Hood shootings (in which 13 Americans were slaughtered and 30 injured by a Muslim shouting “Allahu Akbar”) “an act of workplace violence”  Please reference: Main Justice Story.

- Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, I think, might have called these deadly explosions another “failure of human understanding” like he did the World Trade Center attacks on 9/11.  Please reference: Boston Globe Story.

- Obama's "neighbor," Bill Ayers  has been reliably reported to be in the Chicago area still, and, although he enjoys a good bombing now and then, could not be connected to this incident. Please reference: NY Times Story.

Inclement Weather

When I was younger, I was understandably much more liberal than I am now … I was starry-eyed and naive.  But I am still a little too old to have been a war-protesting, free-loving, acid-dropping, draft-resisting, Woodstock-attending, tie-dye-wearing, radicalized hippy … like many of our influential politicians and popular entertainers of today.  Take Robert Redford for instance … he apparently is trying to recapture his youth in a bottle by making a soon-to-be-celebrated ultra-left movie called The Company You Keep … see: Michelle Malkin Post. This movie lionizes a fictionalized terrorist killer from the Weather Underground, the organization of President Obama’s "neighbor," Bill Ayers.  

Ayers founded this gang of anarchist thugs in the 1960’s ... bombed the Capitol and the Pentagon … got away scott free … and now is polluting the young minds of this country with his radical ideas … see:  Powerline Blog.  To see a scrubbed biography of Bill Ayers please reference: Biography.com.  During his 2008 campaign, Obama used this dismissive “neighbor” term ... with his typical disarming aplomb ... to describe Ayers.  But this Fletcher's Castoria blog post, hopefully, will help you see through this audacious mendacity.

I can think of few Americans more repugnant to me than Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn (… possibly Jane Fonda).  But a while back I found the following reference which, to me, explains a lot about Barack Obama’s well-shrouded youth and how he had been mentored through his formative years and put on a path to the White House … and how this was all connected to that “neighbor” and person he “barely knew,” Bill Ayers … see: WND Story .  

If you have read this reference and believe that it has a ring of truth, then I suggest you peruse a more strongly worded synopsis of the Obama-Ayers connection … see: "Before It's News" Story.  Even if only half of these references are true, then it is clear how Barack Obama is not as his adoring media friends have characterized him.  In fact, a gigantic political fraud would have been perpetuated on the American public.  I really wish I could live another twenty years ... so that I might read the more reflective and documented histories of the apparent sham we are currently experiencing.  But alas, this is not to be.

Perhaps Barack Obama’s book (ghost-written by Bill Ayers?) that helped him win the White House should have been titled, The Audacity of Audacity?

Punxsutawney Phil

Near Boston, at least 12 inches of snow outside now ... and it's still coming down (2-3 inches were forecast) and Punxsutawney Phil predicted we would have an early Spring.  I think I'll order roast groundhog for dinner.  (Or perhaps a weatherman on a spit ... maybe even Bill Ayers?)

Surprise!

In 2008 53% of Americans voted to elect Barack Obama as our President ... many based on the premise that this would prove that they were not racists ... and, as an added benefit, the stain of slavery would be forever removed from our country's cirriculum vitae.  Now we discover that Obama's "typical white folks" comment (referring to his Caucasian grandparents) back in those Helicon days was just a peek behind the curtain of his inherent reverse racism.  Pulling the curtain all the way back, we now discover the true extent of Obama's odium toward many of those who elected him to the highest office in this country.  It's not a pretty picture ... see: Daily Caller Video.  (Those of you who chose not to click on this link, needn't continue reading.) 

Why this fairly bright, extensively privileged man of mixed racial heritage would have such animosity toward half of his DNA frankly escapes me?  Perhaps his white mother's radical teachings in his formative years?  Perhaps his lost love and longing for his African father?  Perhaps some anti-American indoctrination in the madrassas he attended in Indonesia?  Perhaps his experiences as a community organizer among Chicago street gangs?  Perhaps his friendship with that anarchist, Bill Ayres?  Perhaps listening for 20 years to the pulpit rantings of that avowed racist, Reverend Wright and his Black Liberation Theology teachings?

Whatever the root cause of his deep-seated racial bias, I think those of us willing to see can clearly follow Obama's governing track for evidence of this crippling slant ... not just his back-seat decision-making, but his wreckless mortgaging of our country's future.  By comparison, such a rant makes Romney's "47%" comment look pale ... if you will excuse the expression

Red Roof Inn

In the nine months since Barack Obama has been our President there have obviously been quite a number of visitors to the White House. Recently, the list of said guests has been released and it contains some interesting tidbits. The Drudge Report mentioned George Clooney, George Soros and Oprah. See: Visitor Records.

I however found a few even more interesting names (number of visits is in parens after the name.) They are Angela Davis (2), Bill Ayers (2), Jesse Jackson (6), Michael Moore (8), Al Sharpton (2), George Soros (4), and Jeremiah Wright (1). (The actor, Will Smith, was there an astounding 33 times. Is there a movie in the offing?) Nor does this list contain many other names ... excluded because of security or first-family privacy purposes. And it is not clear (perhaps purposely so) what all these visits involved or whom was met. However, in every case the leaving time was 11:59 PM which suggests to me that these were overnight stays. I'm sure more on this will come out over the ensuing days in the NY Times and Boston Globe.

Perhaps we should change the name of the White House to the Red Roof Inn?
