Tit for Tat

If Trump is impeached for turning the spotlight on possible criminal activity by Biden, a potential opposition presidential candidate, why then wouldn’t this very same Joe Biden and much of the Obama administration, including Hillary Clinton and possibly Bathhouse Barry himself, be equally culpable for concocting and pursuing criminal and even traitorous charges against their actual opposition candidate, Donald Trump, in 2016?

And there is even a bigger irony — the charges against Trump were bogus ... and implicated foreign governments (as we learned in the Mueller Report and may find out in the Barr-Durham investigation) ... whereas the charges against Biden are clearly credible ... if only by his own braggadocios words.

Can we consequentially also impeach Biden, Hillary and Obama ... even after they are out of office? I might even take this tit for tat ...

Ye Without Sin

“Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” — Lavrentiy Beria (Stalin’s KGB Director)

Given all the creepy revelations that have been blanketing our news, it has become increasingly apparent that everyone is guilty of something (ye and me too kind reader) ... or, more likely, somethings.

I know it is a downer but no one is without sin. And, if someone in public life has not been so accused of something, it is likely because that person has not been a sufficient threat to someone higher up ... or, because the accused has something on the potential accuser.

So innocence is only an approximation and the result of imperfect information flows and power flexing. Knowing that someone is likely guilty of something does not mean that they are guilty of a specific malfeasance. So identifying and proving a sin is often the rub. Also such misdeeds, if discovered and proven, are then often forgiven by offsetting good deeds.

So, we are all pretty sure that Donald Trump schtuffed Stormy Daniels and that he might have been fast and loose in some of his real estate dealings. But, was he an asset (aka, a spy) for the Russians during 2016? ... a charge carrying quite a bit of Democrat overreach.  We have been reliably told, after an exhaustive investigation, that he wasn’t. And, with this cloud overhanging, he still has been all out trying to fix things for Americans after a generation of our folding like a cheap suit to the rest of the world.

But one can bet money that Mueller’s full 400 page report will be chock-a-block full of innuendo on Trump and those around him. It was a collaboration of 16 Trump haters after all. And, even after redacted by Barr, Rosenstein and even Mueller himself, I am certain that the full text will eventually leak ... probably through the New York Times. So, dear reader, we sinners will surely see more dirt on The Donald. And sinless Adam Schiff and Maxine Waters will be the first to pick up some stones.

But treason? Impossible!

Gender Bemding

Sometimes distinctions make common sense. President Trump's new policy of banning transgenders (just the T in LGBT) from the military has raised another imbroglio. It seems that this about-face from an Obama out-the-door policy was primarily motivated by Congress's inability to deny taxpayer payments for sex-change operations and hormone therapy for transgender service personnel.

Who has been our most recent transgender soldier? Remember? Why Bradley Manning, that's who. He was the traitor who gave over seven hundred thousand secret and sensitive documents to Wikileaks, was convicted of espionage, started sex reassignment treatments and renamed himself  Chelsea ... and spent less than four years in the brig out of his 35 year sentence ... having gotten an executive pardon during Obama's last days in office.

Maybe, with Trump's new policy tweet, this Chelsea Mamning debacle will now be a lot less likely to be repeated?

Afterward: Why did Obama find a novel and departing affinity for transgenders?

Bombshell

Suggested by a caller to the Howie Carr Show

According to the manic media, Don Trump Jr.'s meeting with a Russian lawyer who supposedly had dirt on Hillary (she didn't) was a "bombshell" revelation. In order to keep such nothingburger news stories alive, the media's rhetoric clearly keeps getting more and more inflammatory. Is there a limit to this hyperbolic derangement? I have got to believe that the "chicken little" effect will eventually kick in and the public will, after they see more of these bombshells fizzle out,  stop paying attention to this obvious feeding frenzy.

The real question also presents itself: After all of this supersonic psychosis, can Special Counsel Mueller reveal anything that outshines the glare of such mole-hill madness? For those who are still in the dark as to what comprises "treason" (as per Hillary's running mate,Tim Kane's fervor) take a few moments to read what electronic interchange started this hysteria ... see: Don Jr.'s Email Chain.

I sincerely look forward to the day when all these media histrionics are history.

FU America

President Obummer, instead of blowing kisses to his constituency as he leaves for his coming life of abject luxury ... wherein he is expected to rake in at least a billion dollars of tribute, is instead giving the one finger salute to his countrymen. One of many of his parting gifts is the commutation of the sentences of 1715 drug offenders (more than the last 12 presidents combined, see: USA Today Story  ... mostly amphetamine or heroine or crack cocaine dealers and manufacturers) who, according to source research done by Howie Carr, over a third of which had used guns in the commission of their crimes (likely quite a bit higher percentage since many gun offenses are often plea-bargained away to obtain a guilty drug plea.) Apparently gun control is, cynically, quite a relative thing to Obummer.

The obvious question is: How many of these drug offenders will return to a life of crime and exacerbate the opioid and drug epidemic that this nation is currently suffering? Recidivism rates are generally quite high among such criminals. Studies have shown that as many as 41% of such offenders will be re-arrested within the first year after release! See: National Institute of Justice for interesting data. Now, may we assume that Obummer's vetting process cuts this number in half ... down to 20%. This still means that, as a parting gift, Obummer has punished us with 340 bad guys out to corrupt our children and grandchildren with their evil goods. (And I am sure the numbers will be substantially higher.) What a sinister way to say goodbye and "thank you" to American for all that has come his way.

And why would Obummer perform this evil deed? Perhaps because he was a heavy drug user himself in his youth and identifies with the equivalent of his former suppliers?

Among others (see: Washington Post Article), he has also commuted the 35 year sentence of Chelsea (née Bradley) Manning for treason. This transgender seditious soldier, Manning, will be released after serving less than 10% of this easily justifiable sentence. (He could have and probably should have been executed.) I wonder what Obummer saw in Manning that inspired him to empathize with this scumbag? I wonder?

Lastly, Obummer also granted clemency to Oscar Lopez Rivera, the FALN terrorist who killed 6 people and was an ally of Fidel Castro ... shades of his "neighbor," the Weather Underground bomber Bill Ayers.

Are we beginning to see a pattern here?

Russian Reset Button

Russia's Lavarov and Hellary with the Reset Button

This morning in his press conference, Donald Trump said that, if it were Russia who had hacked into the DNC e-mail server ... but it "could have been China" ... but, "if it were Russia" ... he thinks that it probably also had previously hacked the 33,000 e-mails that were scrubbed from Hellary's server well over a year ago. Trump then went on to say that, if this were so, he hopes that Russia could find them and release them.

Oh no! Trump, according to the Hellary Clinton attack machine, is "almost a traitor" for encouraging Russia to hack into her server! This is so inane and illogical that these attack dogs look like puppies who have just had accidents all over the convention floor ... and this is illogical for two reasons:

1) - You can't encourage Russia to do something today that could only have occurred way in the past. This, to grammarians, is called tense confusion. If Russia did hack Hellary's e-mail server, then the damage had already been long-ago done ... it is not yet to be done ... and therefore Trump couldn't possibly be committing treason. He just wants Russia to release them, if it has them.

2) - And since Hellary has sworn under oath that these 33,000 e-mails were personal and had nothing to do with State Department operations or state secrets ... they just dealt with planning Chelsea's wedding and her yoga lessons. If there were no state secrets in this batch, then again why would Trump be treasonous for this suggestion? More appropriately, if, like most of us suspect, these e-mails have a lot to do with the Clinton Foundation's international "pay for play" scams, then the world ... and, in particular, American voters ... surely should know this fact. And Russia releasing these E-mails would be doing American voters a favor.

Besides, it's not like Trump was selling 20% of America's uranium production to Russia,  he was just hitting the proverbial "Reset" button.

Afterward: Also read: The Left Discovers Russia and Krauthammer's Comments ... also this morning's NY Times had as a headline that Trump was encouraging Russia to spy (future tense) on his opponent. Anyone who buys this spin is a real media lemming.

Excluded Middle

There seems to be a crisp dichotomy between the opinions regarding Edward Snowden’s leaking of National Security Agency (NSA) secrets.  Many, like Daniel Ellsberg and the New York Times view him as a patriot and Dick Chaney (among many others) think him a callous traitor.  Snowden himself says, “I’m neither traitor nor hero. I’m an American.”  The Diplomad blog, which I often read, views him as treasonous … but many of the comments therein disagree … see: The Diplomad Blog … and please read through the many thoughtful comments.

Now comes my opinion -- there is a law in logic that deals with such a situation, namely that most opiners are ignoring that both possibilities might be true … or the “excluded middle” (see: Princeton Comments ). And so, I believe that Snowden is both a patriot and a traitor.  He has opened up the debate about what exactly the intelligence operations in this country should be permitted to do without destroying our fundamental freedoms.  For this he is a hero.  But he has also a turncoat … and, through fuzzy thinking and media grandstanding, is revealing many national security secrets that are doing great damage to our counter-terrorism efforts and embarrassing us with our allies.  Unlike many Americans, I don’t think that one conclusion mitigates the other one.

For this latter gross malfeasance, I think he should be extradited and tried for treason.  If he is found guilty, I would have no problem with his being executed.  Such a punishment would clear the minds of other potential Benedict Arnold's before they are duped and try to grab international headlines with such dangerous revelations.
