Shallow Thinking

There are some people who can't fathom that a "bad" person (Trump) can do many good things ... usually are the very same pundits who would not concede  that a "good' person (Obama) could do many bad things. You know who you are ...

X-Ray

I know, I know how many find President Trump's Twitter storms offensive, but what would those lovebirds, Joe and Mika, do to keep their audience glued to their  short snippets of fake news and hysterical commentary sandwiched in among all those commercials? And, of course, many other media "pundits" also echo this same zinger about Trump's AM rantings ... a safe comment ... unlikely to be challenged.

However, I am  a growing fan of these communiques as they let me know exactly what Trump is chewing on ... and, much more importantly, it gives us, who have been dissatisfied with the opaque nature of our governments process, an x-ray view of the possible  malignancies in our government. For much too long, we Americans have been fed the ambergris from that lumbering whale in Washington. The relation of this regurgitated pablum to the truth is too often tenuous . It is a fiction designed to tie together visible events in a way that hides really what is happening.

Thank heavens Trump does not play this media game. As best he can he reveals what really is happening under the surface of the DC swamp. Yes, he does bring his own bias to these tweets, but insofar as they differ from what we are normally allowed to see, they give us, those who care to see, am unique perspective on the possible truth. I don't claim it is the total truth. But it is far more genuine than the chewed-over press releases ... and their media echoes to which we have become accustomed.

Keep up the tweeting Donald! Ignore all those critics who are afraid of a different ... and likely a more informed ... version of the straight skinny. That's just the ignorant rolling around in their ignorance.

Dementia

Joe and Mika had the author of the hour, Michael Wolff, on their show this AM ... and the bottom line of this tête-à-tête -a-tet was that Trump is in the early stages of dementia. The rationale for this conclusion was that Trump keeps repeating himself. Now anyone who watches Trump at all realizes that, yes, he often does this ("No collusion! No collusion!") at every opportunity.

But, what struck me as most interesting about this interview was that Wolff and both Mika and Joe kept repeating this dementia accusation about every thirty seconds. Does this mean that these three anti-Trumpers are going into mental decline?

Popping Balloons

I have a new theory on why Trump was put on this Earth ... and that was to burst balloons. He is our Balloon Burster-in-Chief. The perfect example is this Steve Bannon affair. Bannon had a high opinion of himself ... as did many others ... including myself. But when, in collaboration with Michael Wolff, he tried to take down Trump and his family, Trump took out his pin and popped the Bannon balloon. He now calls him "Sloppy Steve" and claims Bannon cried when he got fired. Pop!

Does Bannon deserve this humiliation after what he tried to pull? Probably. And to varying degrees so did many of Trump's balloon victims ... Lil' Marco, Low IQ Mika, and certainly Crooked Hillary. Pop! Pop! Pop! (Although, Rubio probably didn't deserve this slight ... he was in Trump's way.)

But the really important balloons that Trump is pricking are things like the global-warming mania, Obama's legacy of appeasement, the Democrat's strategy of packing the voting booths with illegal immigrants, the notion that "free trade" is always fair trade, "diversity" and "inclusion" are automatic winners. "You didn't build that." Pop!  Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! And there will be plenty more of these self-serving balloons that are pop-able. Those were the reasons he got elected and, likely, will get him tr-elected if he survives the balloon vendors vendettas.

Trump's Reality

Mika and Joe on MSNBC's Morning Joe proclaim (a fancy word for "yell") it at every opportunity -- Trump is crazy ... or Trump is suffering from early-onset dementia. A group of psychiatrists recently gave their group diagnosis that Trump was cuckoopie. And now Trump himself, in his tweets, is  sometimes showing a distorted reality ... he really didn't say what was on the Billy Bush "grab 'em by the pussy" tape. Or he fired Flynn because he lied to the FBI as well as Pence. (It is very unlikely he knew about the Flynn FBI lie which occurred, if it occurred at all, well after Comey's firing.)

Anyway, yes even I sometimes get twinges of concern over Trump's concept of reality. But these twinges have not yet overtaken my concern about the mania on the Left as they see Obama's crooked house being demolished brick by brick.

I am still willing to view Trump's sometimes quirkiness as a result of his oversized ego ... and it being an asset that keeps true nutjobs like lil' Kim off balance. The stock market is roaring not just because of Trump's recent tax win ... but because they see Obama's crooked house being razed.

Our "demented" president is doing things on the economic, immigration, anti-terrorism, trade, climate, and national defense fronts that are far more rational than our previous "sane" president. And, if you Hillary-ophiles think that your attempts at a slow-motion coup is perfectly rational, then I think you too need some couch time with those puffed-up psychiatrists who have diagnosed Trump as nuts.

Accuse me, if you will, of living in Trump's version of reality. But, when I see our previous understanding  of  what was sanity crumbling with each new sexual harassment revelation ... and many adults, like Mitch McConnell, buying into the Trump way, I am more comfortable with Trump's form of dirangement.

Why Trump?

I was watching Morning Perjoritive, er, Joe this morning and sighing Mika was dropping mortar rounds on Trump again as she does every morning without fail ... and she asked every guest to join her in her fusillade. This was all in the context of Jeff Flake's denouncement of Trump on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday. Flake is now considered to be the conscious of conservatism ... even though he is for open borders and the kind of free trade that bleeds the U.S. of jobs.

Is Trump Sir Galahad? Hardly! He is a bit of a blowhard. And an egomaniac. His tie is too long. He does stretch the truth, but doing a Google search on his "lies" does not turn up many whoppers. Most of his lies are a consequence of his oversized ego ... like exaggerating the size of his inauguration crowd (and his pickle.) But compared to Hillary's and Obama's monstrous mendacity, he is a piker.

So why did I vote for and still support this "mentally deranged idiot?" It really comes down to the lesser of two evils. The previous administration was so corrupt, so dirty, so anti-American, so self-serving, so duplicitous, so mendacious, so slimy, so dangerous ... I could go on for quite a while ... that it couldn't be allowed to continue. However, sometimes doctors use one malady to defeat another ... like when they use malaria to cure cancer.

And to me,Trump is the lesser malaria defeating the more lethal cancerous scourge of the Obama/Clinton threat. This would-be terminal disease is now being pushed into remission and yet, many myopics and slope-heads like Mika are incensed that we are suffering the ague of the Trump malaria. I myself am more than willing to suffer some night sweats to avoid our country's big sleep.

Now, my liberal friends and readers, you know why I have said and written such heresy.
