Vitamin B-12?

President Trump recently opined in North Carolina that Joe Biden might be getting a shot in his bum right before their first debate in a little over a week. What does the Orangeman know? And what would be in Biden’s syringe?

I have a (rare) thought ... remembering a woman of a certain age I once knew who used to get regular shots to improve her memory and boost her energy level. It was vitamin B-12. So I went to Duckduckgo to research this item ... and found out the 20% of Americans over the age of 60 suffer from a B-12 deficiency ... the symptoms of which include lethargy and memory loss ... see: NIH on B-12 indications.

Of course, not being a doctor, I could be blowing smoke ... and Biden may or may not be among this population who are seriously deficient in B-12 ... but he obviously suffers from some degenerative condition at times. There is plenty of video evidence supporting this assertion. And he also has periods of greater lucidity ... which Trump has clearly noted. In any case, were Biden to get elected, I still would greatly worry about having a president who has to rely on injections to keep him alert and lucid ... particularly when dealing with aggressive foreign leaders and the continuing serious crises that face our country over the coming years. (I am reminded of the cost that the world suffered when a seriously ill FDR tried to negotiate with Stalin on how Europe would look after Germany fell.)

Extra-added attraction: Biden is also rumored to be taking Namenda, an Alzheimer drug which is taken orally ... and often causes incontinence ... see: American Thinker Article.

Afterward: I also just heard the drug Adderall may be involved.

Cult of Personality

In the heat of the Cold War, American propagandist coined an effective term for the Soviet Union’s leadership. We called it a “cult of personality” ... meaning that Stalin and other despots there ruled through the force of their personal whims.  The Dems and media have figured that they can smear Trump with a similar pejorative. He is now a leader of a cult ... meaning that those of us who agree with him are mindless zombies ... see: Deprogramming the Cult.

However, this is a flawed analogy because many of Trump’s fans, like myself, find that he has a sandpaper personality ... yet still admire his policies ... see: The Truth. So, kind readers, I guess we might instead best be dubbed a “cult of policies?”

Star Chamber

Beria and Stalin

The Democrats, under Representative Adam Schiff,  have now gone behind closed doors, without Republicans being allowed in, where they interview some deep-state Trump haters ... and then hold back transcripts of these Star Chamber happenings from Republicans. Next they leak selective testimony, real or concocted, to cooperative media to try to drive down President Trump’s favorability ratings so that he will be forced to resign.

This process is so diabolical that Republicans were forced to storm this secret chamber today where this charade was being orchestrated ... in order to expose it ... please see: Washington Times Story. This is not an impeachment process. It is not even an impeachment inquiry. This is a desperate attempt to distract the American public from the obvious ... that many of these Democrat combatants are either under jeopardy for malfeasance during Trump’s run for the presidency and during his attempt to govern once elected ... or are trying to protect those who did.

So Hose Democrats have gone from a kangaroo court to an Inquisition wherein Republicans were allowed very limited legal rights ... to this Star Chamber where they are totally excluded. This is not just undemocratic, it is tyrannical ... worthy of the old Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin and Lavrentiy Beria.

I return to the biggest paradox of this farce — the Democrats want the American public to turn against Trump and force him out of office ... but, at the very same time, they are desperate to find a candidate who can defeat the Orange-man next November. They must not believe that this Star Chamber “lynching” (lacking legal process) will succeed. Which is it?

Ye Without Sin

“Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” — Lavrentiy Beria (Stalin’s KGB Director)

Given all the creepy revelations that have been blanketing our news, it has become increasingly apparent that everyone is guilty of something (ye and me too kind reader) ... or, more likely, somethings.

I know it is a downer but no one is without sin. And, if someone in public life has not been so accused of something, it is likely because that person has not been a sufficient threat to someone higher up ... or, because the accused has something on the potential accuser.

So innocence is only an approximation and the result of imperfect information flows and power flexing. Knowing that someone is likely guilty of something does not mean that they are guilty of a specific malfeasance. So identifying and proving a sin is often the rub. Also such misdeeds, if discovered and proven, are then often forgiven by offsetting good deeds.

So, we are all pretty sure that Donald Trump schtuffed Stormy Daniels and that he might have been fast and loose in some of his real estate dealings. But, was he an asset (aka, a spy) for the Russians during 2016? ... a charge carrying quite a bit of Democrat overreach.  We have been reliably told, after an exhaustive investigation, that he wasn’t. And, with this cloud overhanging, he still has been all out trying to fix things for Americans after a generation of our folding like a cheap suit to the rest of the world.

But one can bet money that Mueller’s full 400 page report will be chock-a-block full of innuendo on Trump and those around him. It was a collaboration of 16 Trump haters after all. And, even after redacted by Barr, Rosenstein and even Mueller himself, I am certain that the full text will eventually leak ... probably through the New York Times. So, dear reader, we sinners will surely see more dirt on The Donald. And sinless Adam Schiff and Maxine Waters will be the first to pick up some stones.

But treason? Impossible!

Pure Evil

Remember the South Carolina mother who pushed her car into a lake with her two children strapped inside? Pure evil!  MS-13 gruesome killings? A Muslim suicide bomber inside an Israeli pizza parlor? The Japanese Rape of Nanking? Mao's Great Leap Forward? The Khmer Rouge? The Armenian genocide? Stalin's purges? Hitler's Final Solution? All pure evil?

From whence comes all this evil? And will it ever subside?

Answers: Evil must be spread over our human genome ... and, thus, it  will always be with us.

Yes, religions are attempts to eliminate the dark side of our human nature. But most religions have also indulged in evil acts despite protestations to the contrary.

So are things hopeless?

Most likely ... and as population pressures increas, I think things are bound to get worse.

Sorry for being so frank ...

My suggestion: try to keep you and yours out of the way of such aberration  ...

Useless Idiots

Stalin had a term for the fifth-column Communists around the world.  He called them "useful idiots." President Trump has a different set of issues ... "useless idiots" ...  a large set of detractors who bend over backwards to undermine his efforts to keep America safe. I know it is early-on, but here are my nominations for the Useless Idiots of the Year ... those stentorian radical-Islam apologists who apear to care more for their own ideologies and election ambitions. I'm sure that some of my liberal readers might have some other names to put forward:

Bill "Big Bird" DeBlasio

Justin "Timber" Trudeau

Elizabeth "Lieawatha" Warren

Barack "Bathhouse Barry" Obama

Chuck "Tiny Tears" Schumer

Hillary "Sir Edmund" Clinton

Rahm "Godfather" Emanuel

Nancy "Botox" Pelosi

Keith "I CAIR" Ellison

Barn Doors

I read that President Obama has finally decided to provide some humanitarian assistance to those Kurds besieged by ISIS in Iraq and that he is also considering an air campaign to attack some of the key ISIS strongholds … see: New York Times Story.

Meanwhile the Iraqi Kurds are pleading for the United States to send them weapons and ammunition … it appears to limited and belated avail. This presidential action is in the same vein as my previous post noting Obama’s (mis)management style of perpetually being a day late and a dollar short (see: Punctuality). Our fearless leader has once again closed the barn doors after all the horses have escaped (sorry about all these trite chestnuts.)

I am reminded of the 1944 incident in Poland when the Polish resistance, seeing the Russian army on the outskirts of Warsaw, rose up and attacked the occupying Germans. Stalin held back his forces for 63 days until the Germans had crushed this Polish resistance movement (see: Warsaw Uprising) … making his job of subduing Poland after the war that much easier.

Is our fearless leader this ruthless and calculating?

It is chilling to so imagine …

Afterward: I am perplexed ... if we can wage drone strikes in Pakistan and Yemen, why have we been reticent to do the same in Syria and the ISIS controlled regions of Iraq? Yes, we did drop a couple of 500 pound bombs there today, but I am suspicious that this was mere tokenism. We'll see if Obama has the cojones to continue this kind of punishment. After all, how can he then keep blaming Bush for what is going wrong there?

Climate Disruptions

As previously noted the latest buzzword from the climate charlatans is "climate disruptions." Jerry Brown is blaming the current drought in California on "climate deniers" such as myself ... see: Breitbart Story . (Actually, I don't understand how anyone can deny such a thing as "climate.") Anyhow, to see how many climate disruptions that we have had in the 20th century, I went to Google and found the following table of natural disasters ranked by loss of life ... see: Natural Disasters of the 20th Century.  Peruse this table as you wish, but I will briefly summarize it here:

Droughts           26                (virtually all in Africa)
Earthquakes     25                (last one in 1990 in Iran)
Epidemics         17                (not assumed to be climate related)
Floods                 12                (none after 1959)
Typhoons           12                (last one in 1991 in Bangladesh)
Famines               4                (worst one purposely caused by Stalin)
Volcanoes           2                (Martinique, 1902 and Columbia, 1985)
Landslide             1                (Russia, 1939)
Storm                    1                (China, 1930)

(Please note that there are no hurricanes or tornadoes listed in these top 100.)

Ah, you say ... but what about the 21st century.  So I went back to Google and found the following: Top 10 Natural Disasters of the 21st Century ... which again does not include any hurricanes or tornadoes ... but does include two heat waves ... one in Europe in 2003 and one in Russia in 2010 which would have ranked 57th and 61st in the list of 20th century "disruptions.".  Is this enough evidence to scare the wits out of our children, try to starve plants of their sustenance (CO2), and turn our economies up-side down?

 I am still a doubter.

What’s in A Name?

Would a rose still look so red?  Hillary Clinton wrote her mini-opus, It Takes a Village,  propounding her political meme that self-determination is bad and collectivism is good. And I just re-read the poem, “No Man is an Island” by John Donne (see: The Poem ) in an e-mail by a “progressive” thinker of a close friend … as a way of showing the way to his nirvana (“It tolls for thee”).

Now Van Jones, one of Obama’s original Socialist henchmen (and now a MSNBC contributor no less) has coined a new portmanteau term “communitarian” as a way of camouflaging his hard-leftist theology … see: Breitbart Story.  Even Obama’s inaugural address dances around the notion that rugged individualism in the United States is now passé:
Through it all, we have never relinquished our skepticism of central authority, nor have we succumbed to the fiction that all societies [sic] ills can be cured through government alone. Our celebration of initiative and enterprise, our insistence on hard work and personal responsibility, these are constants in our character. [Hey, sounds good!}
[But, wait!] For we have always understood that when times change, so must we, that fidelity to our founding principles requires new responses to new challenges, that preserving our individual freedoms ultimately requires collective action. [The ideological curtain is raised]
I am constantly awed by how persistent a failed political movement can be.  Thirty years ago, we thought Communism was dead.  It had proven itself to be a precursor to totalitarianism over and over again (Pol Pot, Stalin, Castro, Mao, Sukarno, etc.).  Yet on-the-make politicians seem continually to trek back to drink from this tainted trough so as to rally their naive proletariat to a cause that seems so magnanimous and Christ-like.  And, only when the hook in firmly planted in the tender mouths of these fish, do they realize, too late, that they are not to be fed, but to feed.

Useful Idiots

Hugo Chavez of Venezuela is not a friend of the United States. Along with his ties to terrorism, Chavez intends to install Iranian missiles in his country, a scant 1300 miles from the U.S. shore (see Iran missiles). After recent setbacks in National Assembly elections in his country (see recent elections) , Hugo Chavez has made an end run around Venezuela’s rapidly crumbling democratic process and grabbed dictatorial powers (see dictatorial powers). This sulfur-smelling dictator of this oil-rich South American country has gradually amassed power over the last twelve years to the point where now he is unlikely to be legally deposed or even voted out of office.

This gradualism should be an object-lesson for us all on how such loss of freedom comes about … like the proverbial frog in the pot of cold water that is gradually being brought to a boil. Joseph Stalin liked to call those fellow-traveler Westerners who supported him in his reign of terror in Russia as “useful idiots.” Unfortunately, we again have a litany of such brain-dead liberals who worship at the feet of this despotic leader Chavez. The list is predictably extensive but here is a gallery of a few of the most notables:

Danny Glover

Sean Penn

Joe Kennedy II

Kevin Spacey

Cindy Sheehan

Barney Frank
Noam Chomsky
Oliver Stone

Jimmy Carter
