There are quite a number of C-list people who will say or do anything to get mentioned in the media. Here are a few:

The list goes on. But what is it that unites all these ragtag grandstanders? I can’t imagine ...

Ye Without Sin

“Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” — Lavrentiy Beria (Stalin’s KGB Director)

Given all the creepy revelations that have been blanketing our news, it has become increasingly apparent that everyone is guilty of something (ye and me too kind reader) ... or, more likely, somethings.

I know it is a downer but no one is without sin. And, if someone in public life has not been so accused of something, it is likely because that person has not been a sufficient threat to someone higher up ... or, because the accused has something on the potential accuser.

So innocence is only an approximation and the result of imperfect information flows and power flexing. Knowing that someone is likely guilty of something does not mean that they are guilty of a specific malfeasance. So identifying and proving a sin is often the rub. Also such misdeeds, if discovered and proven, are then often forgiven by offsetting good deeds.

So, we are all pretty sure that Donald Trump schtuffed Stormy Daniels and that he might have been fast and loose in some of his real estate dealings. But, was he an asset (aka, a spy) for the Russians during 2016? ... a charge carrying quite a bit of Democrat overreach.  We have been reliably told, after an exhaustive investigation, that he wasn’t. And, with this cloud overhanging, he still has been all out trying to fix things for Americans after a generation of our folding like a cheap suit to the rest of the world.

But one can bet money that Mueller’s full 400 page report will be chock-a-block full of innuendo on Trump and those around him. It was a collaboration of 16 Trump haters after all. And, even after redacted by Barr, Rosenstein and even Mueller himself, I am certain that the full text will eventually leak ... probably through the New York Times. So, dear reader, we sinners will surely see more dirt on The Donald. And sinless Adam Schiff and Maxine Waters will be the first to pick up some stones.

But treason? Impossible!

Invectives

We are living through an age of negativity. People are pushing others out of the way to become the avatars of invective. This trend may not have been started by Donald Trump in the presidential debates ... but it certainly was amplified therein. A good measure of this negativity would be to look at a list of invectives and who now seems to fir these slights. I offer the following line-op of those whose demeanors are not my favorites:

Manipulative -- Nancy Pelosi
Bombastic -- Adam Schiff
Sanctimonious -- James Comey
Malevolent -- Hillary Clinton
Caustic  -- Chuck Schumer
Spiteful -- John McCain
Abusive -- Alec Baldwin
Vindictive -- Robert Mueller
Lascivious -- Bill Clinton
Insolent -- Maxine Waters
Contemptuous -- Mika Brzezinski
Humiliating -- Donald Trump
Sheepish -- Jeff Sessions
Dense -- Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Duplicitous -- Paul Ryan
Inconsequential -- Barack Obama
Self-serving -- Al Sharpton
Pedantic -- Thomas Fridman

(Just another exercises in frustration relief.)
