In the heat of the Cold War, American propagandist coined an effective term for the Soviet Union’s leadership. We called it a “cult of personality” ... meaning that Stalin and other despots there ruled through the force of their personal whims. The Dems and media have figured that they can smear Trump with a similar pejorative. He is now a leader of a cult ... meaning that those of us who agree with him are mindless zombies ... see: Deprogramming the Cult.
However, this is a flawed analogy because many of Trump’s fans, like myself, find that he has a sandpaper personality ... yet still admire his policies ... see: The Truth. So, kind readers, I guess we might instead best be dubbed a “cult of policies?”

Nice try. Cults are about belief, not facts. You shrug off his "sandpaper" personality and excuse his dishonesty and fecklessness, because you see it as mere baggage in the service of your "policy" goals. But, the result is to cede more power to a megalomaniac.
Historical despots ruled through brute force, eliminating any opposition. It wasn't their sparkling personalities. It was their utter lack of humanity - considering the opposition to be "human scum."
We may now be at a place where the path ahead divides, and one of the paths leads straight to tyranny and despotism. Which path will the drooling zombies take? Yeah, we know.
Have a nice Thanksgiving.
If Trump is so powerful, how come USMCA is still sitting on Pelosi’s desk ... and no budgets have been passed.... nor any infrastructure?
Signed,
A Drooling Zombie
Trump today wondered why the 100th anniversary of woman’s suffrage wasn’t celebrated “a long time ago.” He then congratulated himself for getting it done. There's a stable genius for you.
And yet the stock market today moved to another record high ... up over 40% from the Obama recovery high since he was elected. I suppose this is because all of Wall Street knows nothing.
