The Democrats, under Representative Adam Schiff,  have now gone behind closed doors, without Republicans being allowed in, where they interview some deep-state Trump haters ... and then hold back transcripts of these Star Chamber happenings from Republicans. Next they leak selective testimony, real or concocted, to cooperative media to try to drive down President Trump’s favorability ratings so that he will be forced to resign.

This process is so diabolical that Republicans were forced to storm this secret chamber today where this charade was being orchestrated ... in order to expose it ... please see: Washington Times Story. This is not an impeachment process. It is not even an impeachment inquiry. This is a desperate attempt to distract the American public from the obvious ... that many of these Democrat combatants are either under jeopardy for malfeasance during Trump’s run for the presidency and during his attempt to govern once elected ... or are trying to protect those who did.

So Hose Democrats have gone from a kangaroo court to an Inquisition wherein Republicans were allowed very limited legal rights ... to this Star Chamber where they are totally excluded. This is not just undemocratic, it is tyrannical ... worthy of the old Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin and Lavrentiy Beria.

I return to the biggest paradox of this farce — the Democrats want the American public to turn against Trump and force him out of office ... but, at the very same time, they are desperate to find a candidate who can defeat the Orange-man next November. They must not believe that this Star Chamber “lynching” (lacking legal process) will succeed. Which is it?

Shift Hits the Fan

The House Democrats are desperately trying to hold back the tide of information that increasingly is revealing how complicit their party, the FBI, the Obama DOJ, the Clinton campaign and much of the national media have been in working overtime to bring down Donald J. Trump before and after his election. I haven't included Robert Mueller in this list, but, if he continues to chase Trump-Russian collusion rainbows after seeing the extent of the above cabal, I will be forced to conclude that he was and is a willing member.

Also increasingly I can discern flagging conviction in the eyes and words of the defenders of this cabal as their talking points become more strained and ridiculous. Representative Adam Schiff is still as shrill as ever in his ever-more shaky defense of the indefensible. I predict that, as more and more damaging story-line contra-facts are revealed in this FBI fiasco, these defenders' job will become more tenuous. At some point,  there will be no more wiggle room for these apologists and that is when things might get dangerous. These rabid partisan libs (and there are many) could get even more nasty.

Misdirection

The Obummer administration does one thing really very well ... changing the subject of course. This is with the sleazy cooperation of the elite media and those peevish parolees in the House of Representatives.  It was a mere ten days ago that the self-declared ISIS supporter, Omar Mateen, killed 49 patrons of the Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

And how has this story been portrayed? Not as an Islamic terrorist act nor as an anti-gay hate crime by a Muslim? No, it is another random act of violence somehow perpetrated by guns alone. Our increasingly political Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, even retreated into Clintonian legalese when she said that we may never know the "precise" reason for this massacre.

And the media are co-conspirators in this political misdirection. They have been running banner headlines and op-eds blaming the guns used by Mateen, even though both were obtained legally. And a small Pack N Play group of militant Democrats staged a tantrum yesterday on the House floor to do what? To change the subject once again away from the embarrassment caused by the blatant incompetence and/or subterfuge of Obummer and his band of Muslim Brotherhood wannabes.

Common sense be damned! This misdirection is comparable to a pickpocket who elbows you in the side as he slips your wallet out of your back pocket.

Never mind that the Republicans have offered multiple fair gun laws that might help curb gun violence ... all of which were filibustered by the Democrats ... for it is not really the laws that the Democrats and elite media want. They want the issue ...  and to be able to change the subject away from radical Muslim extremism.

The reason for this misdirection is beyond adult understanding ... given that Muslim jihadism is being papered over ... putting everyone, even these truculent Democrats, in peril. Is it that winning elections is more important than our lives?

A Test

I am herein offering a test to measure the bias of national media outlets .. that is, if and whereof they mention what happened in Congress yesterday that was meant to ameliorate the effect of the government shutdown. The House of Representatives proposed a piece of Ted Cruz's strategy ... a measure that funded the District of Columbia, veterans' services, and the national park service.  But the House Democrats kept this from reaching a required 2/3rds majority ... even after passing a similar measure to fund the Defense Department ... which was later passed by the Senate and signed in to law by President Obama ... see: The Blaze Story.

However, this morning's printed version of the New York Times indicates that somehow this bill made its way to the Senate and Democrat Majority Leader, Harry Reid, refused even to bring this proposal up for a vote in the Senate.  I'm sure that this was meant to punish the Republicans by punishing segments of the American people ... with the cooperation of national media outlets.  How cynical can one political party get?

Although the New York Times did reveal this information on page one this morning, it was in paragraph 8 and referred this measure as a "narrow bill."  I grade the Times with a B- ... it should have been in the headline and the first paragraph ... it's real news!  An exercise that you, dear readers, can use to test our media outlets' biases is to follow how much of this really important development the national media are willing to convey to you.  This should be fun.
