Not just a fibber ... nor an exaggerator ... nor even a bloviator ... she is a bald-faced, feather-headed, shameless impostor. Say goodbye Lizzie. (You can still solicit campaign funds however.)

Racial Slur?

The Pitch: During a meeting honoring the few remaining World War II Navajo "code talkers," President Trump rather clumsily referred to Senator Elizabeth Warren with his per term "Pocahontas" (because she pretended to be an American Indian to get a job at UPenn and Harvard when they were seeking "faculty diversity").

The Swing: Senator Warren quickly accused Trump of making a "racial slur" for using the term "Pocahontas" while in the presence of American Indians. Understandably,Warren's slam quickly echoed through the national liberal media.

The Call: After the meeting, one of the Navajo code talkers said that during the war when they were parachuting out of planes the Army told them to shout "Geronimo!" He added that that they weren't insulted then and they aren't insulted now by Trump. "Your out!"

Next Batter: Senator Warren once again has egg all over her "high cheek-boned" face.

I have watched the MSNBC show "Morning Joe" for enough time now that I think I can reproduce the typical banter between its two co-hosts ... viz:

Joe Scarborough: Trump has tweeted out this morning that he is under investigation by the Special Counsel Mueller ...

Mika Brzezinski: We've known Trump for a long time.  I'm just saying ...you can't trust anything he says because he is a liar ...

Joe Scarborough: But his lawyer said yesterday that he was not under investigation!

Mika Brzezinski: Sigh! Both Trump and his lawyer are liars ... Trump lies about lying ...

Joe Scarborough: If I were still in Congress, I would look my red-neck constituents in the eyes and tell them the truth ... like I always did and that's why they elected me ...

Mika Brzezinski: You told the truth, Trump lies ...

Joe Scarborough: My voters could always tell when I tried anything funny or political ... My voters loved my honesty ...

Mika Brzezinski: Sigh! That's what I love about you Joe ... and Elizabeth Warren ... not like Trump's constant prevarication

Free Speech

As has been repeatedly said, it's a sad day for democracy in America when a Conservative, in this case Ann Coulter, is intimidated by lefty brown-shirted Fascists into canceling a speaking engagement at the University at Berkeley in California ... see:  NY Times Article. After a series of obscene threats by the Jack-booted liberal storm troopers, the university's total lack of accommodation for her, and the moonbat mayor of Berkeley's refusal to guarantee her safety and the safety of attendees, Coulter and the Berkeley Right relented and canceled even minimal oratory.

When you have the ACLU, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, at least in form, suggesting that the show should go on, you know that our Constitution is now just "a piece of paper" (an Obama quote) according to those once proponents of  the "Free Speech Movement" ... those erstwhile ragtag radical students at Berkeley.

Obviously, the Chancellor of this University and  the head of the California University System are also culpable for turning their backs on this shameful situation. But the person who should be blamed most is California's Governor, Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown, for his lack of gonads for averting his eyes to this matter. He should have called out the National Guard to insure civil peace before, during and after Coulter's speech. This almost octogenarian fruit bat deserves to be assailed by the national media for his pathetic guttersnipe performance in this matter.

The Resistance

We are living in interesting times wherein there is a strident and seemingly widespread resistance to our current Trump administration ... unfortunately even some of it from within the administration itself ... as witnessed by the continued embarrassing security leaks. The energy in this resistance over-states its actual support as much of Middle America seems to understand the time-worn dynamic of how those on the left ... much of the print media, many entertainers, some judges, SNL, paid agitators, prog politicians, cable TV talking heads, even some foreign leaders ... are over-reacting to a few greenhorn missteps by the Trump posse.

Many on the left ... Meryl Streep, Michael Moore, Al Franken, Rosie O'Donnell, Chuck Schumer, Lena Dunham, Mark Cuban, Elizabeth Warren, etc. ... are all elbowing each other out of the headlines ... fishing to be first in the public's eye with even more outrageous Trump and Company smears.

And John Hinderaker, like always, has it pretty much right in his Powerline Blog diagnosis of the double teaming that SNL and the AP perform almost every weekend since Trump was inaugurated. Their purpose has clearly expanded well beyond humor to delegitimizing our current administration ... see: Powerline Blog. This is verification of the extent and vigor of the resistance I am noting above. Somehow, I think that these naysayers will eventually tire of concocting their innuendo and fake news and Trump will prevail ... just like he did in the general election. He will "punch through" this picket line of pikers.

Nostradamus

New York Times columnist, Ross Douthat, has been taking a psychedelic and staring into his pool of mercury like Nostradamus and has written a column projecting what American life will be like four years hence. With Donald Trump just having been re-elected to another four year term ... easily defeating the Elizabeth Warren, Corey Booker duo ... his first term was filled with some successes and a few flops ... see: NY Times Op-Ed. In this opinion piece Douthat admits that two out of his three previous week's predictions (domestic economic collapse and a run-up to the Third World War) did not occur in Trumps first term ... but civil unrest still persisted.   Bowing to his editorial superiors, Douthat throws them a few bones ... calling Kellyanne Conway "Svengali" and dissing Sean Hannity.

Nevertheless, an interesting read.

Bigoted Anti-bigots

Many streets across America are awash with Soros-funded protesters writhing in agony over the Trump election, Their hysterical histrionics often border on the comical as they denounce our president-elect for the litany of his PC sins ... often devoid of rhyme or reason. One champion of these ragtag groups of savages is the original poseur ... Elizabeth Warren who is on her own private warpath with Trump ... see: CNBC Story.

As he often does, Trump cannot ignore these fulminating discontents as he tweeted that they are protesting the fair results of our democratic process. In truth, as they protest their fancied bigotry of Trump, they are displaying their own dangerous form of bigotry ... for which the only cure seems to be some serious reflection on the meaning of full and fair elections. Anarchists are sustained on raw emotion posing as logic and need some reeducation of what reality brings.

Even that liberal overtalker, Chris Matthews, has noted the futility of these unwashed thugs ... see: Real Clear Politics Commentary. These hooligans need to realize that the nation has spoken and "they lost."

Even President Obummer is trying to put a shine on a sneaker as he sees his legacy spiraling down the drain ... see: The Hill Article. This man-child governed for eight years against the will of the people and now sees the results of his "change" about to be changed. But he will still have one legacy likely to survive the Trump steamroller -- Cuban cigars.

Nastiness

Are women second-class citizens in the Muslim world? Except for a few non-Arabic locals like Pakistan and Iran, generally they are. Yet, women's issues were not anywhere near the top of her agenda when Hellary was flying around this world as our SecState. But, in a country where women have voted for almost one hundred years and make up almost half of the workforce, suddenly women's issues are now paramount for this "nasty" woman. Of course, moving the battle of the sexes to center stage is a political calculation ... as is just about everything these days in the Clinton campaign.

If Hellary was showing the kind of outrage over Trump's "pussy" comment or his "nasty" aside as she (and Elizabeth Warren) should have been directing at radical Muslims and rap artists for how they treat women, then their current gnashing of teeth might have some credence. As it is, it rings as hollow as Obummer's promises about his Affordable Care Act.

It appears to this writer that selective outrage is one key facet of nastiness (another might be calling half of Americans "deplorable" and "irredeemable") ... and both Hellary and Tizzy Lizzy have had their tanks topped off on this character flaw.

By the bye, and to be fair ... Donald Trump also clearly carries a surfeit of nastiness ... and even I have bared my horns from time to time.
