Latest Computer Model

The very latest COVID-19 computer model has just been released. Dr. Birx has revealed the results:

- There will be no more polar bears alive after the November elections

- Maro-a-Largo is expected to be under water both physically and financially before the Mexican Wall is finished

- Virtually 9/10ths of the American deaths due to the coronavirus will be the Orangeman’s fault

- For some strange reason all of the coronavirus deaths in Wuhan, China were ... and are predicted to be Uyghurs

- The next coronavirus presser will last 2 1/2 hours

- Elon Musk’s next Tesla model will have a rage of 310 miles ... with the air conditioning and heater off ... no lights or radio on ... and bald tires.

Gasp!

Global warming ... aka climate change ... aka extreme weather. We are doomed to the exigencies of carbon dioxide. More hurricanes ... rising sea levels ... more childhood asthma ... polar bears dying off ... more illegal immigration ... shrinking glaciers ... all sorts of plagues and pestilence caused by our naive use of fossil fuels.

Hold on Pilgrim. Recently we learned that Greenland’s glaciers are growing again (see: Greenland Glaciers) ... and, gasp! we are also now informed the the glaciers at Glacier National Park in Montana are not disappearing on schedule ... but, in fact, are once again expanding ... see: Daily Caller Story.

These ice-forming anomalies must also be being caused by global warming, aka climate change, aka extreme weather! No?

Afterward: I just looked up info about the Mendenhall Glacier outside of Juneau, Alaska and got the following official word about its shrinking ... see next. The obvious question presents itself ... was CO2 spiking back in the mid 1700s?

Is the glacier retreating?

A neo-glaciation period began 3,000 years ago and ended in the mid-1700s. At this time, Mendenhall Glacier reached its point on maximum advance, and its terminus rested almost 2.5 miles down valley from its present position. Mendenhall Glacier started retreating in the mid-1700s because its annual rate of melt began to exceed its annual total accumulation. The icefield's snowfall perpetually creates new glacial ice for Mendenhall Glacier and this ice takes 200-250 years to travel from the Juneau Icefield to Mendenhall Lake. Water depth at the glacier's terminus is 220 feet. At this rate, the glacier would take several centuries to completely disappear. For Mendenhall Glacier to advance, the icefield's snowfall needs to increase, the glacier's rate of melt needs to decrease, or both.

... You confuse slaves with indentured servants

... You believe that illegal aliens commit fewer crimes proportionately than native-born Americans

... You claim all Trump tax cuts have gone to companies and the wealthy

... You’re sure the world will end in 12 years unless we Americans eliminate all fossil fuels

... You believe that federal immigration laws should be defied

If you agreed with more than three of these goofy ideas you should give up your family and become an apostle of AOC or Bernie Sanders.

It's My Fault

That a woman may not keep getting $1,000 a dose medications to control her opioid addiction

That polar bears are gonna die and the "Earth has a fever!" because I "don't believe in science"

That MS-13 gang members are being deported back to Central America

That Israel is occupying territory that it won after it was attacked in 1967

That Kim Jong Un is a Korean fruitcake

That ISIS is recruiting soldiers because of my use of the term "Muslim extremists"

That the First Amendment is under attack because of my use of the term "fake news"

That women are second-class citizens because I voted for Trump

That people are losing their food stamps because of reinstituted  work requirements

That young  black men are being shot because I support law enforcement primacy

That all American women may not be getting free birth control

That the United States is unwilling to accept any and all migrants from around the world

That James Comey was fired as FBI Direct without sufficient cause

That our nation is spending itself into penury

That Iran is well on its way to having nuclear weapons

More Consequences

I have commented in the past about what things, like terrorism, are being caused by global warming ... see: Consequences. As an homage to last week's Earth Day, the following items have also struck me as obviously being consequential of our not banishing carbon dioxide and worshiping the godess Gaia:

- It gets warm in the United States in August and is freezing in January, whereas in Argentina it is just the opposite ... weird!

- Earthquakes happen on a regular basis on Mars ...  clearly as retribution for our environmental neglect.

- Each generation of Americans are getting more and more obese ... except for The One, Obummer, an indication of his being a true believer.

- Democrats represent 97% of all climate scientists ... a settled statistic.

- Polar bears and penguins are flourishing and their populations expanding ... surely as a result of the more temperate nature of our polar regions.

- China's economy is only growing at about 7% per year ... obviously as punishment for its skepticism toward the effects of carbon dioxide on our atmosphere.

- Most celebrities and politicians have been forced to take their private jets to climate-change conferences.

S'no Snow

The dearth of snow this past winter was viewed by the global-warming alarmists as proof that Armageddon was finally upon us and they genuflected once again to Al Gore's prescience.  (They overlooked that The Barry had promised that "the seas would recede" in his administration.)  However, on Sunday. the 3rd of June, 2012, it snowed in New Hampshire ... on top of Mount Washington (see: Mt. Washington Weather).

On a similar note, these same alarmists have been pointing to receding glaciers in Greenland as another indication of our impending doom.  However, as it turns out, these same glaciers had an equivalent event in the 1930's ... see: Greenland Glaciers in the 1930's.  I suppose that the polar bear population decline myth busting will be next?

More Mendacity?

Does anyone truly believe this chart?  (Click on it to enlarge.) Or is this more of the type of global-warming data-fudging that we saw out of East Anglia University in England ... remember "hide the decline"?  This data is released by a division of NOAA (in Boulder, CO -- the Tea Party capital of the nation -- NOT!) which, in the past, has show a biased political bent.  God save the polar bears!!
