Relativity

No, this blog entry has nothing to do with Einstein. It is about comparing our presidential politicians on the important issues. For instance, Donald Trump wants to build a wall on the Mexican border to stop the hoards of illegals from entering the United States ... whereas Hellery Clinton has been advocating for "open borders," with little or no restriction on who, how, when or where immigrants enter the United States. And since a huge proportion of recent immigrants end up receiving public assistance, to me, this is a recipe for "The Decline and Fall of the American Empire." Yes, and a disproportionate percentage of these illegals end up committing other crimes ... please peruse: The Center for Immigration Studies ... another good reason for enforcing current immigration laws.

Like most Americans, both Hellery and The Donald are "free traders", but Trump believes that the devil is in the details. Pacts like TPP and NAFTA give up too much U.S. sovereignty and economic leverage according to Trump and need to be renegotiated. Whereas Hellery thinks that these trade agreements are just fine ... even though the evidence shows that NAFTA has decimated U.S. manufacturing. Yes, the lefties say that automation is the chief reason for the decline in what was once U.S. manufacturing employment levels. If that be the case, why then relocate factories off shore since the labor content is so low anyway? This does nothing but cause our balance of payments to sink further into the red.

The Democrats and Hellery are hell bent, every time there is a terrorist attack at home, in blaming the gun if there is one involved. The terrorist's culpability is somehow secondary. If the weapon of choice is not a gun ... say a pressure cooker or a box cutter ... then lefties bend over backwards to find some other reason for this terror other than the Religion of Peace. Donald Trump however brags that he has a license to carry a firearm and often does. He promises that he will be a staunch defender of the Second Amendment ... whereas Hellery will appoint new justices of the Supreme Court who will surely gut this precious American civil right. Trump also recognizes that Islam is the common denominator in most of this terror and wants stricter vetting of immigrants from Muslim nations where such terror is rampart. Hellery wants to import tens of thousands more of these potential "Allahu Akbar" miscreants.

Dear reader, this is enough relativity for today. Trust me, I will entertain you with more in the not too distant future.

Another Liberal Lie

I have heard at least a half dozen times in the last few days that since 9/11 the United States has allowed 1.5 million Middle Eastern immigrants into our country and, so far, none have turned out to be terrorists. This seemed like obvious BS to me so I resorted to Google and, in a trice, I found this reference ... see: ABC Article. Here we learn that a few dozen suspected terrorists have arrived on our shores as political refugees ... including former bomb makers (IEDs) from Iraq.

More importantly, the Tsarnaev family was granted political asylum in the U.S. in 2002. As we all should know, this family produce the two Boston Marathon bombers. Technically the Tsarnaev brothers are not Middle Eastern (being from near Chechnya) but they are surely Muslim terrorists.

It does seem that such false factoids quickly find there way into the popular narrative and, once there, are more difficult to eradicate than kudzu.

Memorialized

After atrocities such as recently occurred in Paris, invariably, left there are spontaneous displays comprised of flower bouquets, teddy bears, lit candles and sympathy notes... placed at or near the bloody aftermath. Again I ask myself, "Why?" Are there not more appropriate responses to such mayhem? Say, for instance, some targeted and brutal retaliation?

The innocents, who were slaughtered by this latest bunch of Muslim terrorists, are gone. They cannot see these maudlin memorials. Roses will not repair their mutilated bodies nor bring solace to their families. Rather, as Lincoln once said, it would be far better for those who leave such cheap tokens of solidarity, to dedicate and rededicate their energies to eliminating such pond scum from their societies ... perhaps by leveling the capital of ISIS, Raqqa ... and destroying all the oil rigs from which it derives its sustenance?

Tribute

Tribute is nothing more than ransom paid to keep some entity from harming you. There are many instances of this practice … from the Mafia demanding a percentage of the profits of businesses as “protection money” to Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and other race baiters shaking down American businesses so that they are not accused of “racism” … see: ABC News Story.

Now the Muslims are getting into the payoff racket with demands for “Halal certification” which is a statement that a food purveyor has met the standards of the Islam faith. In exchange for paying a fee schedule, these purveyors are “allowed” to sell their products or services to the Muslim community … see the Australian schedule of demands: Q Society Story and in Malaysia: Malaysian Halal Rate Schedule. Unfortunately, many suspect that this certification money finds its way into funding much Muslim terrorism around the world.

In fact the recent jihad attack by a Muslim radical from Iran on a Sydney, Australia coffee shop seems somehow connected with this shop’s refusal to pay Halal tribute … see: Atlas Shrugged Story. Unfortunately, the number of businesses who do pay this Halal bribe seems to be large and growing.

What did Lenin say, “The capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them?” But, in this case, we seem to be giving them the rope.

Wouldn't It Be Nice ...

if our President, Barack Obama, could ever utter the words "Islamic extremists," or "Muslim terrorists," or "Islam jihadists" ... see: The Foundry Story  Thoughout his four and one half years as our supreme leader, he has yet to label any such heinous action (as the grisly slaughter that was just experienced in London) with any of these appropriate terms.  Very curious ... very curious ...

Afterward: I'm not a psychiatrist ... nor do I play one on TV, but I think that this Obama pathology is called OCD (obsessive/compulsive disorder) ... and/or is reflective of his madrasa schooling in Indonesia.

Assault Weapons

As a result of the horror that transpired last Friday in Newtown, Connecticut (see: Huffington Post) Congress will very likely re-institute the assault weapons ban that expired in 2004 … plus a few other palliative measures.  Will this stop such senseless violence?  Unlikely … certainly not the mayhem in the gangland battlegrounds like the south side of Chicago where dozens of teenagers die each week.  Even Connecticut currently has a state-wide ban on assault weapons.  This clearly did not stop Adam Lanza from his twisted vengeance.

But our short-sighted Washington solons will adjourn sometime in January after having put a plaster on the gaping wound of such insanity.  What they likely won’t address are:

-         the culture of extreme violence that pervades Hollywood, the U.S. computer-gaming industry, and all too much of our television programming

-         our country’s turning its back on our need for more mental-health institutions and a reasonable process for keeping our society’s blatantly-psychotic misfits from walking among us.  The notion that every weirdo needs to be “main-streamed” is a sick societal construct that is supported by … and supports the fringes of the  legal profession.  Nonsense!

-         a serious investigation into the effects of many of our psychiatric drugs on large populations of our male teenagers … particularly when dosages are varied or abandoned.  (I happen to believe this well could be the primary reason for the outbreaks of these teenage killings.  To me, there seems a correlation between the hyperbolic increased in the use of such drugs and these Columbine-type events.)

And lastly ... almost as an aside, I fully support the use of drone air-strikes on the hideouts of Muslim terrorists … who too often insinuate themselves among civilians … often resulting in the incidential killing of innocent young children.  With this, I wonder if President Obama thought of the tots that he has killed by proxy when he shed a tear for the youngsters massacred in Newtown, Connecticut?  Life is full of such enigmatic ironies.
