How come in every other “active shooter” case, the left vilifies the scary-looking military-style weapon as the biggest criminal … but in the Rittenhouse trial, the man using the weapon is now the more heinous one?

It is appropriate that the weapon is the issue. It is scary, You don't have to aim it. Just point and pump the trigger to blanket the target with lead. We should all be issued AR-15s with a few thousand rounds so we can be a properly distributed militia. Let's go Trump!!
