Greenland Glaciers

One fact used by climate hysterics to panic the masses is that Greenland glaciers are melting ... and this melt water will swamp low-lying areas around the world. Well, what we haven’t heard is that this Greenland warming AND cooling is cyclical over a five to twenty year period ... AND Greenland glaciers are growing again ... see: The New American Article.

You see Chicken Little, climate change is a little more complicated than  the alarmists like to tell you. So you can rest easy for the next five to twenty years ... at which point Al Gore may have changed his tune to global cooling (caused bu man-made CO2?)

Polar Bear Poop

The expected first freeze date (established over hundreds of years) for my home town here in Massachusetts is October 15th. I just looked on the Accuweather site and, guess what, tonight's low temperature is forecast at 29 degrees ... bulls eye! Also the Farmer's Almanac as well as more reliable forecasts predict that we are in store for a rather harsh winter ... nertz!

Now, I realize that one data point of weather is not the "climate" and we deniers cannot conflate the two. But the alarmists don't seem to have such compunctions ... suddenly our country's first glancing hurricane in ten years, Matthew, is proof that Al Gore is right with his cockamamie "science." So I will suggest once again that the alarmist are full of polar bear poop ... and I, personally, am more concerned with global cooling than with global warming.

Oops, global cooling is also a change in our climate ... so alarmists have it either way! I suppose next they will point to the fact that dry ice is made with carbon dioxide ...

Global Cooling

Apparently, from the 3% of scientists who don't believe in the CO2-driven global warming mythology, there are some who believe that the ten year period from 2030 to 2040 will bring a mini ice age. This will be due to our sun going into its periodic quiet period ... see: UK Express Story. This freeze would mimic to a lesser extent the Maunder Minimum ... a seventy year period of extremely cold weather that occurred in the late 1600's when the River Thames was frozen solid.

The main author of this study, Professor Valentia Zharkova of Northumbria University (along with other associated researchers) have gone into hiding until after the upcoming climate change conference in Paris ... least she becomes the target of President Obama's wrath.

In a related story, it has now been revealed ... by NASA no less ... that the sea ice in Antarctica is growing rather than shrinking as many have reported ... and has recently reached a record high ... see: NASA Story.

It now seem that, in the United States at least, global cooling data has been transmogrified by our crazed scientists at NOAA ... into global warming data. The U.S. has actually been cooling since the 1930's, the hottest decade on record, whereas the real data has been cooked (if you will excuse the expression) to show just the opposite ... see: UK Telegraph Story.

For "scientists" to be so unscientific, to me, is astounding. But it's not like such silliness hasn't happened before ... just ask Galileo ... and Einstein ... and many others. But, given the ongoing economic cost of this particular dastardly duplicity, me thinks some punishment should be exacted from these charlatan scientists and those snot-nosed politicians who are in bed with them. Perhaps we could put them in stockades and shoot hockey pucks at them?
