There once was an Oxford professor, William Archibald Spooner, who had an unique way of talking … mixing up consonants or vowels often between words or even within a single word (“merove’). He did this so often that the result of this crossed brain wiring became known to his students as “spoonerisms.” See: Age of the Sage.
Not to be outdone, our current president not only suffers from this malady … but from forgetfulness, poor pronunciation and malapropisms … a four-bagger. See the above … you know the thing.
