So, still a nothing burger. She denied under oath that she knew of any violence caused by FBI. Cruz is such a slimy liar, I believe her.
When first asked about Ray Epps she also said she could not disclose “sources and methods” of the FBI. Small contradiction, no? Besides, only Rs are charged with lying to Congress.

So, your belief and assertion is that the FBI was behind the Jan 6 riots. What was their motive? To make Trump look bad? They knew He'd LOST the election, so what would be the point?
I think to prevent him from running again? Do you not remember that he was impeached over Jan 6 for this very reason? I have no idea what the mix of FBI, Antifa and QAnon was in the Capitol, but would sure like to find out. I suppose you might not know this, but it was revealed that Ray Epps testified to the committee back in Nov. and his testimony and the fact that he was there was kept secret. It sure would be nice to see what he said … and if he was under oath?
Heather cox Richardson wrote this yesterday in her Facebook Post, "The committee today also debunked a story circulating on right-wing media that government agencies rather than Trump loyalists were behind the January 6 insurrection. Arizona resident Ray Epps was captured on video in Washington on January 5 and 6, and Trump allies, including Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Matt Gaetz (R-FL) have argued that he was a government agent trying to entrap Trump supporters. The committee says that it interviewed Epps and that he had told the members “he was not employed by, working with, or acting at the direction of any law enforcement agency on January 5th or 6th or at any other time, and that he has never been an informant for the FBI or any other law enforcement agency.”
“Sorry crazies, it ain’t true,” committee member Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) tweeted."
Can we assume he was under oath? Does that change anything? The people who are promoting the Ray Epps story are not credible sources, but I have to agree that keeping the interview a secret for these months makes one wonder...
I expect that, if Ray Epps were somehow acting in a conspiracy, he would be the last to admit it … even under oath. Perjury would be the last of his worries. We shall see what we shall see … There are at least 2 others directly involved … maybe more. See my latest post regarding conspiracies.
