The Federal government’s setting impossibly high fleet gas-mileage and emission standards is nothing more than the heavy hand of government forcing car companies into building only electric vehicles … ones that not all their customers may want to drive. This clearly is not free-market capitalism. It is a back door oppressive approach to a totalitarian state.
