No! No! and No!

Obama’s last Secretary of State, John F. Kerry, has a bit of a horse face ... which is appropriate considering he is a horse’s nether end. During his sad tenure his appeasement and payoff of Iran, his humiliation of Israel, his fake pushback against ISIS, his coddling of Palestinian terrorists ... almost everything he did in the Obama Cabinet was wrong ... clodishy wrong.

As an example of his ineptness the above video displays how very wrongheaded he was about the possibility of Mideast peace without first achieving a Palestinian two-state solution with Israel.

Given what Trump has recently accomplished with the Abraham Accords, accomplishing peace between Israel, Bahrain and the UAE, one would think Mr. Ed would slink back to his stable ... his face a bright red for flubbing his “hard reality.”

The Pope Knows

Pope Francis, the heretofore darling of the world's media, has gone from solid theological grounds into a political quagmire ... calling the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, an "angel of peace" and has had the Vatican recognize Palestinian statehood .... see: Associated Press Story for details. Does this man not read the newspaper? Has he not seen that Abbas's servants have placed Israel under a firestorm of over 11,000 rockets since 2005 (see: Israel Defense Forces Numbers)?  Did he not see how last year Abbas cynically thwarted his citizens a golden opportunity for statehood ... see: The Impossible Dream? Is he confused because both angels and rockets fly through the air?

Unfortunately, His Holiness is also preparing a papal encyclical to be delivered this summer in which he is expected to ally the Catholic Church with the Church of the Moonbat CO2 Haters ... see: New York Times Story. Does Pope Francis not recall how his church was besmirched by its treatment of Galileo when he had advocated heliocentricity? When the Catholic Church starts teaching science is when it loses its luster of saintly objectivity and becomes just another pitchfork-carrying peasant preparing a bonfire for the heathen.

And most of the Christian world had such high hopes for this man when he was elected to this august post ...

Petulant Child

The president of the United States is acting like a petulant child. He won't call the newly elected prime minister of Israel, Netanyahu, to congratulate him on his victory. He is plotting to bypass Congress with his capitulation with Iran and also use the U.N. to force a two state solution between Israel and the Palestinians ... see: Fox News Story and  Foreign Policy Magazine Article.

The United States is now in the bizarre position of treating Israel like a pariah ... the only true democracy in the Mid-East and our supposed closest ally there ... while the fulminator of terrorism in the region, Iran, is being courted like a beauty queen.

President Obama is pursuing his own personal warped ideologies to the exclusion of the national interests of the United States ... a very defiant and dangerous situation.

Summer Reading

I have reason to believe that President Obama and Secretary of State, John Kerry, can read. They both graduated from college and graduate school did they not? So why is it that the United States, under these clowns’ aegis, is giving 47 million U.S. taxpayer dollars effectively to the terrorist organization, Hamas … see: Pamela Geller Article.  Hamas will obviously not use most of this money to help the poor Palestinians, but to continue to do their evil deeds. Hamas has sworn in their charter to annulated all the Jews, viz:

The Last Hour would not come until the Muslims
fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill
them, and until the Jews would hide themselves
behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree
would say. Muslim or Servant of Allah there is a
Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree of

And, if it had the resources, Hamas would obliterate the total of Israel in a heartbeat. Perhaps both Obama and Kerry could take it with them to read on the Cape Cod beach this August?

This silly stance by Obama and Kerry makes absolutely no sense to me. If it does to any of you, please explain yourselves.

Peace

Rush Limbaugh has espoused that peace will not be achieved in the Israeli-Palestinian (or any) conflict until one side wins … and wins decisively. I agree. The reason why this belligerency seems interminable is that as soon as Israel achieves a limited tactical advantage, the world rises up in banner-headline protests (I wonder why this is), and Israel withdraws to await the next Hamas (or whomever’s) onslaught.

Already we see the negative press surrounding Israel’s attempt to stop the rocket and mortar barrages from the Gaza strip. Our Secretary of State, John Kerry, reflects this administration’s private cynicism over Israel’s incursions into Gaza (“pinpricks?”) … even while tepidly endorsing Netanyahu’s efforts.

To establish a lasting peace in this region, Israel must destroy Hamas, kill all its leaders, destroy all its weaponry, collapse all its tunnels, and severely punish all its warriors and fifth column. Anything else means that this charade will re-occur and re-occur until such time as those who want to destroy Israel finally achieve their goal. Then perhaps the liberal left in this country and in Europe will fall silent … and happily declare peace.

The UNdoing of Israel

This week there will be a series of arm-waving speeches at the UN headquarters in New York City regarding an attempt by the Palestine Authority to establish itself as a full voting member of the General Assembly ... as opposed to its current PLO observer status.  Were this to happen, this will mean that the UN will de facto recognize Palestine as a legitimate state.  This obviously cannot happen as then there will be zero leverage for Israel in its negotiations with the Palestinians toward mutual state recognitions ... and this 65-year old conflict, in turn, would continue to be an open sore for a long, long time.  Therefore, the United States may be forced to issue a veto of this resolution in the Security Council and further paint itself as an anti-Arab force in world politics.

The Barry has brought this embarrassing situation upon himself (and us) with his misguided rhetoric and misunderstanding (hopefully) of the consequences of same (see: Obama's Axle Wrap).  See my thoughts on this Obama-boner here.  According to John Bolton, our UN Ambassador under Bush 43, in previous similar situations, the United States has gone to the UN member states to whom we give foreign aid and threatened to withdraw this aid if a vote for Palestinian General Assembly membership were to occur.  This kept this genie in a bottle for the last twenty years.  Now, with his chin high and a wave of his hand, President Obama has given up this leverage. Was the naivete or purposefulness on his part? 

You decide ...

The Map Tells

I have three profound problems with the push for Palestine statehood as proposed in his recent pronouncements by our president, The Barry.

If the "1967 borders with mutually-agreed-on land swaps" is the starting point of negotiations between Israel and the Hamas/Fatah cabal ... what is the end-point?  If the Israelis are, as a starter, reduced to this minimal land profile, what land do they then have left to agree mutually to swap for, say, Jerusalem or its West Bank settlements?  The answer is: Nada.  (It already has given back the Gaza Strip and the Sinai.)

If the Palestinians (according to The Barry) are to have a "contiguous" state, then the Israelis, by definition, will be left with a non-contiguous state.  Is this realistic ... or a sinister formula for Israel's annihilation?

And the most obvious oversight by The Barry is his conveniently ignoring the Palestanians' uncompromising demand for the "right to return," or the ability of persons who once lived in what is now Israel to return there ... along with their children, their grandchildren, and soon, their great-grandchildren.  If one marries this demographic nightmare with Hamas's charter's call for the destruction of Israel, then the result clearly is equivalent to tying a honey-covered missionary to a fire-ant hill ... not a very pleasant demise.

Afterthought: The Barry's two gaffs in England yesterday (toasting the queen during "God Save the Queen" and signing the guest book at Westminister Abby "24 May, 2008"  tells me (once again) that he has difficulty with the details of life and protocol.  To me, this mirrors his inattention to the details listed above in his speech on the Israeli/Palestinian peace process.
