Hip Hip Horray!

Piece by piece President Trump is dismantling some of his predecessor''s ludicrous legacy of globalist anti-American policies ... many of them extra-Constitutional -- TPP, inviting in dreamers, Syrian and North Korean appeasement, MS-13 catch and release, the war on coal, NAFTA trade imbalances, the Obamacare disaster, blocking two oil pipelines, "opening" the Internet ... and now the Paris Climate Accord, This Paris deal was not really a climate deal. It was a globalist attempt to redistribute our nation's wealth to the rest of the world under the guise of controls on carbon dioxide, the basis of all life on Earth. There are oodles more Obama hate-America legacies that need to be obliterated ... in particular the Iran Nuclear deal, our love affair with the Muslim Brotherhood, the Deep State leaks, federal land grabs, tax reform, regulation reforms and finally the rebuilding of our infrastructure.

This POTUS decision was not taken lightly since it has set a fire under the media and most of the liberal left for his apostate stance. The economic cost to America would have been enormous without any measurable environmental return. This climate hysterical backlash should be on display over the coming days. But Trump was right.  See his clear rationale for his move ... it's compelling: Real Clear Politics.

For me, once again gutsy Trump gets my kudos!

You forget two things. One it was a voluntary program and two it wasn't going into effect until 2020. You're reading Brightbark too much.

You forgot three things: 1) It was voluntary except for the money we were to give the rest of the world, 2) China and India needed to do nothing thing until 2030" and 3) If the rest was voluntary for us, why is everyone in a tizzy?

Everyone is in a tizzy because the USA is saying that even though we want an ever larger military, we do not want to lead. Leave leadership to the EU or China or Russia. Sad!

To me, leadership is doing what you believe to be right and not necessarily following the pack. If you are right, the pack will eventually follow.

So the other 192 countries will follow Nicaragua (the agreement doesn’t do enough to fight climate change) and Syria (totally dysfunctional). Let's see which other countries decide to leave the agreement now. Even the mayor of Pittsburgh said "WTF?"

Who doesn't want free money?

Where is there free money in this? And in no sporting event is dropping out of the race or the league a sign of leadership. And if the "pack" does not follow, you end up as just a foolish rogue out on your own.

He could have moderated the USA terms in the agreement unilaterally and moved forward. But that was not the bloody red meat Bannon wanted to toss to the base.

And when your grandchildren are your age will they think back to the rebirth of finite, dirty oil and coal in America, or reflect on the wonders of a global future based on clean renewable energy from water, wind, and the sun?

This accord committed US to pay something like $75 billion to developing countries (inc. India and China) to try to get them to do something that was not checked I on. Obama already wrote a check to them for $1 billion right before he left office.
You forgot to mention all the "coal sludge" that Trump wants to put in our pristine lakes ... and all the (just) minority children he wants to give asthma to.
