Brotherhood's Keeper

Are we.the Muslim Brotherhood's keeper? To a certain degree, yes, we already are ... and will be much more so if Hellary Clinton is elected president. The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) is, to many, a terrorists organization ... but it's slowly becoming our own terrorist organization as it stealthily insinuates itself into our government. President Obummer has already met with this group multiple times at the White House. And we also know that Hellary's close confidant, Huma Abedin, previously worked for 12 years for the main MB publication and that her family (father, mother, brother) are key executives in the worldwide MB organization. (If you don't know these things, read The Hill Article or, if you prefer, The Washington Post Article.) But now we find out that the Clinton Foundation employed the MB's chief spokesman, Gehad El-Haddad, for a formative five years ... see: Powerline Blog. He is now in prison in Egypt.

During the Obummer administration ... and with its support ... the Muslim Brotherhood under Morsi came within a whisker of turning Egypt into a totalitarian caliphate and now is on trial there for a series of heinous crimes. I would like to believe differently, but I am convinced the the MB tenants are ever so slowly shaping the foreign policy in the United States ... and that we are now on the doorstep of its attempt to duplicate the Egyptian experience here.

I know it is often difficult for we complacent Americans to confront a dangerous future, but now it's decision time folks.

Fleas

The Obama administration has clearly favored the Muslim Brotherhood … for reasons that have never been fully clear to me.  I have written numerous times about this puzzlement. (See: HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE ... and finally HERE).
Now the fog is beginning to lift.  One of the chief spokesmen for the Brotherhood has had an intimate connection with Bill and Hillary Clinton. Gehad (an interesting first name) el-Haddad, a former top official in the Clinton Foundation for five years, has just been arrested in Cairo for inciting violence there … see: Free Beacon Story.

Haddad most recently has been an adviser to Egyptian President Morsi … who was elected under the aegis of the Muslim Brotherhood.   Morsi’s recent ouster there by the Egyptian military was due to his tyrannical mandates in his early months as President … which then caused massive street demonstrations … far outnumbering those that had previously toppled the former Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak (with a nudge from Barack and Hillary).

Another obvious connection between President Obama and this very dangerous radical Muslim organization is Barack’s half-brother, Malik Obama, who has been overseeing the Muslim Brotherhood’s international investments (see: WND Story) … not something you might see on the front page of the New York Times.  Clearly Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have been, since his inauguration, of a like mind regarding the Muslim Brotherhood.

But these are not the only Clinton-Muslim Brotherhood connections.  Huma Abedin, a very dear personal aide to Hillary Clinton (and wife of Carlos Danger, aka Anthony Weiner, failed Democratic candidate for Mayor of New York City) is also closely connected to the Brotherhood.  Her mother, Saleha Abedin, is a member of the Muslim Sisterhood, an allied organization, and her brother, Hassan Abedin, is also closely linked to the Brotherhood in England … see: Wally Shoebat's Comments.

And as the Clintons may hopefully soon discover … if you lie down with dogs, you end up with fleas.  If this embracing of the Muslim Brotherhood by the Clintons does not disqualify Hillary from running for President in 2016, it will only be with the full cooperation of most of the national media … who are also looking a little flea-bitten of late.

AFTERTHOUGHT:  Isn't it interesting that the Muslim Brotherhood is a Sunni-dominated organization and the Syria-Iran axis represents the Shia branch of the Muslim faith?  Is the United States now squarely and stupidly in the middle of this centuries-long sectarian bloodbath? It would seem to simple-minded me that our foreign policy in the Middle East should have been based instead upon encouraging and promoting secular governments there.
