Binary World

There are many things in life that are of a binary nature. Generally one either loves cilantro or one hates it. You either detest the thought of mayonnaise or you savor it. You can't get enough of McDonald's breakfast or you would need to be starving to death to entertain the thought of its Sausage McMuffin. And, of course, politics is often a binary choice. Watching CSPAN this morning exemplified this. Just about everyone calling in on the "independent line" was either a rabid liberal or a conservative. The "golden middle" has become a shrinking compromise.

And, unfortunately, the more radical the support or anathema there is toward an issue, the likelier it is adorated or deep-sixed -- respect for the American flag, women's "reproductive rights," smoking (except doobies), Confederate hero's statues, etc. George Soros and other bubble-headed billionaires believe that their way is "the way" ... and are willing to bribe others generously to support it ... witness Tom Steyer's recent vicious and unprecedented anti-Trump TV commercial ... see: Real Clear Politics Video.

I love cilantro ... and pray to Obama nightly that the haters don't outlaw this pleasure of mine and many other's.

After your mentally unstable president gets us into global thermonuclear war, there will be no cilantro for anyone.

And if Trump stares down Kim ... will he be commended for fixing the mess that three previous presidents left for him?

Yes indeed. I wish for that outcome.

Just three? This has been stewing since the early 1950’s

People that call in to political broadcasts have strong polarized opinions. There are a LOT of Americans that think cilantro, mayonnaise, and MickeyD breakfasts are just OK. Moderates.

The world is binary bits evaluated in 64-bit bytes. To see just the first bit of the word is simplistic.
