Equal Pay ...

... for equal work. It seems that Hillary Clinton may be humping up the wrong leg ... anyway as far as the smut industry is concerned. Female porn actresses often earn much more than their male counterparts ... see: CNBC Article ... and still the males have to bring their own equipment. (Besides, I'm not really sure that we can call this vocation "work.") But the fact is that men are forced to take a lower-paying, but more rigorous role in these wrestling matches. This suggests to me that we need to have a Congressional investigation into this gender-based disparity.

Perhaps Donald Trump ... or even Bernie Sanders ... could get some young child to ask Hillary a well-rehearsed question at one of her next meet-and-greets as to why this sexist-based income disparity is allowed to persist and what she plans to do to redress this bare discrimination.

The Gore Gods

Have you noticed fewer hurricanes lately? Scientists believe that the Atlantic hurricane season may be entering a phase of fewer and weaker hurricanes ... just the opposite of what the global-warming alarmists have been predicting ... see: EarthLink News Story. Ah well, these bloviatig bozos can now turn this development on its head and claim that such weird climate behavior is just another manifestation of too much CO2 in our atmosphere ... and that, when the hurricanes do return, we will all suffer greatly at the hands of the Gore Gods. Be afraid ... be very afraid!

Power of the Purse

Desperate to counter the profoundly negative effects of Obamacare on this year’s upcoming Congressional elections, the Obama administration is attempting to bribe as many voters as possible.  This includes trying to extending unemployment benefits, forgiving the penalties for neglecting to sign up for Obamacare, expanding the food stamps program (see: CNS News Story), (over)using the canard “equal pay for equal work (for women)” and now abandoning attempts to collect hundreds of million of dollars of past Social Security overpayments … see: CNBC Story.

As long as President Obama has the power of the purse … and can capture two minutes of every nightly TV news broadcast with these saccharine promises, it will be a more difficult for the Republicans to make significant headway in this November’s elections. The term “buying votes” really does have meaning … and the Democrats seem to know most of the old tricks.  Alexis de Tocqueville famously said that “the American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” He clearly neglected to include the President in this insight.

But stay tuned … over the next six months I am certain that this administration will discover and propound even more voter bribes. Watch and wait.
