The Senate has just voted unanimously to make daylight savings time permanent year-round. This bill now goes onto the House where it is also expected to pass. There, AOC is particularly excited to vote for this measure, saying, “ If we save an hour a day and never have to give them back for a whole year .. it’s like an extra two weeks for everybody.”
