My granddaughter has tested positive for Covid … twice … and will likely be tested one or two more times before she presents as negative. Will she be listed in our official pandemic statistics as multiple cases … since I doubt that many states have the time or methodology for cross-checking for duplicate incidents?

Hope she is okay. Perhaps you could ask the testing outfit how they will count it, rather than cynicaly casting shade on what might be good data.
Sniper, I can’t ask every testing location in every state. Besides, she was tested at separate locations.
