In California, why is it that the signatures on Governor Newsom’s recall petition are extremely thoroughly vetted ... whereas mail-in ballots there are waved through with virtually no scrutiny? Shouldn’t it be rigorous for both ... or maybe the voting-in checking is more important than the voting-out? This is bass ackwards!
