Humans indulge ourselves with ununinformed hubris if we think that we can control the factors that drive major climate cycles.
Can we redirect ocean currents, change the tilt of the Earth’s axis, alter our orbital path around the sum ... or even change the solar cycles themselves? Carbon dioxide and methane are but bit players in the panoply of actors in our climate-change passion play.
Instead, we should be eternally greatful that we are living in relatively benign climate times here on Earth ... and stop playing political games with what we do not fully understand.
