“Putney Swope” was a 1969 cult movie made by Robert Downey Sr. that poked a finger in the eye of the advertising business ... and presaged the bizarre world is which we currently find ourselves. It was so outrageous it was worth emulating and even being bettered. And we have been striving to this end for 50 years.
