Ain't No Mountain High Enough


One can watch exciting things transpire for years and not understand the implications of same. One such example that just surprised me was the problem of human waste that has been accumulating on Mount Everest over the last six decades. Over four thousand climbers have summited this Himalayan peak during this period and the consequences of the biological processes of all these mountaineers are not pretty ... see: Washington Post Story.

And to think that the yetis have been pooping on this mountain for generations and have left not a trace ...
