Thought for the Day

Life was so much simpler when the New York Times and the Washington Post told us what to think. Today, with the Internet (and the discrediting of these newspapers), we are deluged with so many opinion cross currents, new data points and misinformation that we are being forced to think for ourselves. Ham and Eggs

I have a little egg on my face about my blog on General Carter Ham's replacement surrounding the Benghazi, Libya incident (see: Ham Sandwich).  Apparently General Ham is still on the job and I am unsure as to how much of my narrative regarding him is valid.  I am sorry about this misinformation.  However, I still believe that much of the rest of the referenced blog is accurate ... and, in fact, I am now even more convinced that the death of many of the Americans there could and should have been avoided.  Stay tuned ... as I suspect it will not be until after the upcoming election before we hear "the rest of the story."
