Euphemisms

More and more our PC society is shying away from telling it like it is. We have long used terms like"sanitation engineer" for "garbage man" and "little people" for "midgets." But our Mongol hordes of liberals are working overtime to morph our language into incomprehensibility. Here are some recently collected examples of such euphemisms:

Safe space -- imaginary site devoid of harsh word or deed

Memory-care center -- senility institution

Reproductive health -- abortion

Cultural appropriation -- acting black, being white

Black lives matter -- all police are murderers

Workplace violence -- Islamic terrorism

Gender fluidity -- AC/DC

The Green Party -- the Red Party

Gun safety -- gun control

Undocumented citizen -- illegal alien

Ethnic lightning -- arson

Differently-abled -- handicapped

White privilege -- black resentment

Hooking up -- having sex

Living will -- permission to euthanize

Micro-aggression -- societal slight

Afterward/  The Obummer administration has now decided to call criminals "justice involved individuals." Neato!

No it's not Andrew Sullivan.  It's Camille Paglia.  She has just released a new bombastic book titled, Real Housewives, wherein she claims she will vote for the Green Party candidate and calls George Lucas the greatest living artist (!?) ... see: Salon.com Article. (It's worth a scan.).  Therein she also waxes ecstatic about Monet's Iris paintings.  Now I know she generally has great artistic taste, but I will let you, kind reader, be the judge insofar as who better depicts the bliss of new Spring irises ... Monet or Van Gogh?
