I like Mike Pompeo. I like Ron DeSantis. I like Marco Rubio. I like Donald Trump. All for different reasons.
But a caller to the Dan Bongino show last Friday made an interesting point … if you think that the deep state is a bigger threat than China, Russia, Iran or North Korea, then the only possible president … who has a chance of draining the swamp … because he has been up to his neck in it for the past seven years … and knows who and where the creatures are … is the Orangeman.
(And a lot of protected civil servants may end up working in Nome, Alaska!)

Why didn't Trump drain the swamp when he was President?
I think he was pretty busy keeping his campaign promises … and defending himself from all the hoaxes, impeachments and disloyal staffers. But you are right … he should have fired more people and hired better ones. But still, he did a remarkable job despite all all these distractions.
