Right now China, North Korea, Iran and others are slow-walking any compromises with the United States based upon the upcoming presidential election, a year from November. They obviously are hoping, even expecting, that some Democrat Obama clone will prevail and their contest with American will be won by default.
It seems that Trump understands this and so he keeps predicting that these negotiations should drag on for quite a while. However, dear reader, if there are any breakthroughs in any of these stand-offs, it will likely be because such adversaries have become convinced that Trump will prevail ... and want the brownie points therefrom. And, of course, such an event will make Trump’s victory even more assured.
So watch for it.

Who are these adversaries? And what brownie points do they get?
China, Iran, North Korea ... and the brownie points are better terms in the negotiations if they give in early.
