Living Life

The Earth is unique among all the planets we know in that it has evolved a way of capturing and storing the energy from the sun through a magical process called photosynthesis ... the basis of all life. And photosynthesis totally depends on one extremely scarce ingredient to start everything off ... CO2. And now, our most highly evolved life form, man, has decreed CO2 to be a pollutant ... and is trying to eliminate it from our atmosphere.  Are we f**king crazy?!

CO2 is not a pollutant per se. Excess CO2 in the atmosphere creates a greenhouse effect that will warm the planet and trap pollution. So we might develop tremendous tropical forests globally. Then, when polar ice caps melt, the sea levels rise and cover many low lying cities, further crowding the earth with the already expansive population.

You are regurgitating the Al Gore message which is vastly overstated and relies on jiggered data and flawed computer models.

Sorry. Just scientific reality. Might take a thousand years. CO2 does promote green growth so, unless we want to harvest the vines (such as kudzu) and water plants (such as water chestnuts) that will proliferate, we should try to maintain control.
