There was a time, maybe a hundred years ago, when a citizen that wanted to float candidacy for a federal office could write a letter to the editors of a generally respected news source. Citizens would read and think and discuss and, despite knowing that the author was likely vetted as a white man, they weren't prejudged by their physical mannerisms and ability to handle questions ad hoc. Sad.

Fox shows Beto waving his arms, but does not reveal one word he said. Sad.

I think Beto is quite coy at revealing exactly where he stands on most major issues.
