Despite the fact that he was an ardent Democrat and a rabid misogynist, the
curmudgeon author and journalist, H.L. Mencken, is one of my favorites. He was singularly
insightful … kind of like a more acerbic Mark Twain ... and his many bon mots are quite
entertaining … see: Brainy Quote and Quotations Page.
