Back to Basics

What does Make America Great Again mean? To me, this means for America to restore itself and get back to basics ... those elements that allowed us to breath free air and exhale free speech. I think most Americans would love to have the following restored to our shores:

- Teaching our children the three-Rs instead of political pap

- Not living beyond our means

- Restoring the family as the bedrock of our society

- Re-establishing morality ... best through religions

- Producing essential goods inside of our country

- Revering our proud heritage and history

- Reaching out to help other nations in need

- Working hard and being productive

- Restoring our beautiful infrastructure

- Standing up for freedom as a model to the world

- Being patriotic and loving our country

- Being positive ... and not being frozen with fear

Today’s Poser

Isn’t today’s Cancel Culture, which curses our history, a lot like children suing their parents for any bad genes they inherited?

History

“History is written by the winners.” — George Orwell

Historians have an interesting way of sanding most of the sinister sharp edges off of their look-back narratives.

Ink Blot

It i is up to history to write your legacy. Attempting to pen your own amounts to nothing more than a vain and silly ink blot on the annals. -- Anon.

Independence Day

I know, I know that these on-the-street interviews showing how historically stupid millennials and gen X-ears are ... are getting to be old hat. Nevertheless here is another instance in San Diego of just how clueless some of these slope-heads are ... see: Infowars Video.

There might have been a few right answers edited out of this clip, but the fact that an Italian tourist knew more about the founding of the United States than did the vast majority of our natives does indicate that the huge sums of money we are spending to educate our children is mostly going down a rat hole. I think the interviewer hit the nail on the head when he told one dolt that, because of her lack of patriotic knowledge, she wasn't allowed to celebrate Independence Day!

Wake up America!
