Rayshard Brooks, the man shot and killed by a policeman in an Atlanta Wendy’s parking lot had been sentenced to 1 year in prison and 6 years probation in 2014 for beating his kids. He was sill on parole during the current incident. If arrested and convicted of DUI, he probably would have been sent back to prison. Apparently that is why he violently resisted arrest ... punching the arresting officer in the face, taking his Taser and firing it at him.

The arresting officer, Garrett Rolfe has been charged with first-degree murder.

Senseless Arson

Copycat rioters in Iowa have burned down a meat-packing plant that had shipped hamburger meat to the burnt-out Wendy’s in Atlanta where, in its parking lot, a white policeman had shot a black man who had violently resisted arrest. In further acts of pointless anarchy these rioters also torched a uniform supply firm that had been serving the meat packing plant ... and the janitorial service firm that had been cleaning the uniform supply company ... and the sandwich shop local to and a favorite of the janitorial service.

Just kidding about arson at these last four places ... wish I were also kidding about that Wendy’s too ...
