It should be apparent that the real issue is not the numbers at the border, but why they left their last address. What can we do to encourage people in other countries to stay put.
Perhaps, as Kamala has suggested, we need to pay welfare to the underdeveloped world. We already are doing so in Ukraine … and then some!
