All the media purposely manipulates its audience to its ends. So too, the government. Those consumers of news who do not discount for this bias are like lambs being led to slaughter.
Pilgrim: Watch them spin … and then condemn opponents for this spin … very dishonest … and not journalism.
Perfect example: Trump, in jest says he would be a dictator just on day one only. “Close the border and drill, drill, drill.” Much of the news media spun this into saying he would be a dictator for his whole presidency … and I heard the lambs repeating this. Too too typical!
Afterward: I think Trump was trying to show how totally corrupt the news media is. It worked!
