Back before we started using fossil fuels we gleaned our forests for tinder … keeping the carpet relatively tidy. Even after coal became a dominant warming source, we learned to do controlled forest burns to solve possible gigantic conflagrations.
No more. We now ignore our forests … encouraged by the spotted-owl “environmentalists” … who have unlearned all that we once understood … at our peril.
Whatever happened to common sense?
