Eye Wide Open

If nothing else, Donald Trump opened America’s eyes to:

- What a serious hegemonic threat China had become

- How globalism had hollowed out America’s manufacturing might

- How corrupt the U.S. media had become

- How our attempts at nation building were pure folly

- How our borders needed securing

- How much of Europe had been using America as a free defender

- How corrupt and self-serving our bureaucracy had become

- How important it was for America to be energy independent

- How we were on a glide path to socialism

- How politicians were using race to divide us

- How our intelligence operations had gone rogue

- How our education system was failing us

- How tolerant we had become of civil disorder and mismanagement

So, kind pilgrim, have the scales fallen from your eyes yet? Or does Biden still have your … and 10 million other (dead) voters’ nod?

STAND UP FOR OPEN EYES!

My eyes were open to every one of these points when George W. Bush was POTUS, around 2006. I did not need Trump to poke me in the eye.

Ad yet you twice voted for Barry …

Yes, I did. But I really did consider Republican tickets in both elections because they had moderate (RINO to you) stances. McCain seemed to be facile with the ways of Congress but that nut Palin turned me cold. Then Romney who I liked as a Governor, liked his experience with Romneycare, and how he handled Bain and the Olympics, but again that VP choice of Ryan a heartbeat away from the POTUS role turned me away. Barry did not make these problems and made efforts toward resolving them. And I liked Biden. Trump blustered and tweeted about the problems you listed yet did not resolve any of them except for oil drilling every which way to get energy independence. Biden getting bipartisan support for legislation to fix our crumbling infrastructure is a BFD IMHO.

Trump tried to get a $1.5T real infrastructure bill passed … but somehow bipartisan was not to be from Pelosi/Schumer. And your VP dyspepsia didn’t extend to Kamala? Ouch!
Your comment is a study in rationalizations for your lefty knee jerks.

Biden showed the art of the deal. He got McConnell and 18 other repubs to vote for the bill. Yes, Kamala is another less-than-ideal VP, but not enough to make me a Trump voter. And you yourself expressed in 2016 that your distaste for Hillary was so great that you would hold your nose, close your eyes, and reach through the doorway to pull the lever for Trump.

I got lucky

I think you are saying Schumer is not bipartisan … but McConnell is?
Biden couldn’t sell a cheeseburger to a starving Soros.
