On TV this AM, Asa Hutchison, Governor of Arkansas, said he hoped that the Republican Party would move away from President Trump’s “cult of personality.” Perhaps I am projecting my own opinion onto the American people (why not, Dem talking heads do it all the time?), but saying that it is Trump’s sandpaper personality that has caused his popularity is quite a stretch.
